Wonderful get away
This is a charming place, full of really nice interior touches. The location gives you access to some great marshland so you are treated to a daily dose of great bird sightings, including ospreys, red-winged blackbirds, herons and others. The house has everything you need. The only advice I would give - to remind guests to clean off the grill when they are done using it. We had to clean it thoroughly as it had obviously not been cleaned in awhile. I suggest you add that to the short list of close-out items.

What an amazing host!
Sarah was an amazing host. The checking/ out processes was super simple. The place was clean, smelled nice, and the property itself was very well kept. Aside from the great hose and rental house itself, Deal island offers a small town environment with super friendly locals. I cant wait to book with Sarah again!

Very nice home
This was a very nice well kept home in historical Deal Island. This home was very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Which was really appreciated because there is no stores really close. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Vacation!!
We absolutely loved everything about this house. From Sarah, the owner, who was very accommodating and easy to reach to the quiet and peaceful vibe. Sarah thought of everything you would need for a vacation (from fluffy towels right down to kitchen necessities) which made our stay so much easier. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back for another stay. Everyone that we encountered on Deal Island and the towns we visited - Princess Anne, Chincoteague, Salisbury, Berlin - were so friendly! If you are looking for a home base for your visit in that area this would be the place - not too far off the beaten path but far enough for peace and quiet. Sarah was also able to hook us up with Captain Harry Nield, KingFish II, for a fishing charter. One of the highlights of our vacation. Thank you Sarah! Darlene

A very well-appointed home. Our host thought of everything. All of the big and little details that we didn't have to worry about, like toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, etc. were all there. There was plenty of room to spread out or congregate together. We want to stay longer next time.

Just like it looks in the ad
This was a great home. Spacious, comfortable, and a well-stocked kitchen with all the dishes and pots one might need as well as a nice porch and lots of places to relax. The homeowner was accessible and helpful. Would definitely return.

Great Location in Deal Island
Stayed here with coworkers for field work in the nearby marshes. Important to note that there are not restaurants/grocery stores nearby, so if you don't mind cooking in (great kitchen btw!), this is a fantastic place for a group who is looking for a remote location.
