Daughters wedding
This is the second time we have stayed here. It is fantastic. Rooms, furniture, space and supplies are excellent. Everything works and is excellent condition. The beds are very comfortable as well. The view is so nice. We loved relaxing on the deck and watching the wildlife and boats. Plus it allows dogs which is so helpful to our family. Thank you for the use of your house! It was perfect.

Awesome House!
The house was amazing and the group had a great time. There is plenty of space and the main floor area has a wonderful view of the river. There were a few small things that were damaged. The pull out drawers in the fridge had damage and there was a small hole by the light outlet. Other than those two items, the house was in great shape. Overall a really good trip.

Highly Recommend!
We brought a large group to stay at this house for a few days, and we are so glad we did. This house was clean, in a great location, and had plenty of space for our group! The property manager was great to deal with and answered all of my questions quickly. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Lake vacation
Excellent open house, room for toddlers to run and adults to play and gather. Pontoon boat rental is the way to go if you want to swim and go on the lake.

Love it
We loved our stay!!! Great location and easy to get to off the highway. Plenty of parking in driveway. The rooms were nice and clean and spacious. Plenty of bathrooms for our large group! The dock was super nice, just wish more space to sit on bottom level since no chairs on top deck. We loved renting boats from cottonport marina- zack is great and easy to get a hold of! Would definitely recommend this place for a large group and will happily rent again with a large group!

Beautiful house on the river.
The property is beautiful. The river (lake) is deep and clean. Very remote not a lot of places to go to if you need anything. Piggly’s wiggly is close. Because of the open ceilings to the upstairs noise really carried through to the bedrooms upstairs. The deck snd patio are great places to spend the evening. The rock scaping and landscaping are very nice. The double decker dock was fantastic. The kids loved jumping in to the deep water and swimming. Our Lab too. We rented boats from Zach at Cottonport Marina. What a sweet guy and so personable. They have a fish fry on Fridays there. The triple high ceiling does make the first floor cold as the warm air goes up. Even with the fans on. There were a couple of maintenance issues I’m bringing to the attention of the management folks - not major though. The foldout couch in the loft is not good for sleeping. We had to make other arrangements but too the sound really echoed up there if anyone was up and about. Very peaceful and beautiful location but remote.

Terrific Lake House for Large Group
We loved this place. The kids enjoyed the dock, the ping-pong, the corn-hole and video games. The lake was lovely, empty and quiet at night. We rented a pontoon boat from the owners and went out for hours every day. We all enjoyed the spacious quarters, multiple bathrooms, and abundance of beds. Be prepared for steps! 60+ to get each way down and up the cliff to the boating area. Also, neighborhood dogs roam at will and present a real issue for runners and bikers. We were accosted several times (and bitten once) and strongly considered alerting the authorities. We would rebook, and may indeed next season!

David, I'm sorry for the delayed response. We appreciate your review and we are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we do hope that you will return for another visit in the future. However I had no ideal until reading this review that you had an issue with the neighborhood dogs and certainly didn't know anyone was bitten. You have my sincerest apologies. And I hope that whomever was bitten has healed and that they are well. I know there are a few strays that runs loose in the neighborhood but also some that aren't strays are also allowed to roam free. The strays have never been a problem before but the dogs that have a home have been an issue lately. The authorities have already been contacted a few times about it and have addressed the issues with the owners. There's been a fence put up by the owners in hopes of solving the problem. Hopefully it works. I just wanted you to be aware that there have been steps taken not by me personally but by others in the neighborhood to handle that situation. Relaxing
We had the perfect week, the temps were hot, and the water was warm. We tubed, we swam, we fished and we relaxed in the house in the morning and evenings, while we played games. The host was extremely accommodating, answered all our questions, and the check in was flawless. We would definitely go back!

The house is amazing, one of the best we have ever stayed in. Kitchen had everything and more that was needed. Game room was a big hit for pit kids. Layout of house was very well thought out. Only thing I would change is to add furniture on top of boat dock.

Weekend Getaway
Quick weekend trip from Nashville. Very secluded and minimal people on the lake. House was well stocked so we didn’t have to bring a ton of little things which was nice because it was a quick trip. Being able to easily rent the pontoon was a huge plus and made Saturday a blast, we were out on the water the entire day.

Beautiful lake setting
Great house for four couples. Well equipped kitchen. Most bedrooms had two queen beds, so six more people could have beds if good friends or family. Beds weren’t made but linens were set out. Flat sheets were missing but manager brought them immediately when called. Hot tub had some leaf debris but water seemed clean. It didn’t stop us from enjoying it and the lake view after our daily hikes. Refrigerator door needs shelves. Fortunately there was a second fridge in the basement. Had a great time. Would happily go again.

Great time with family
Overall, it was a great trip and we really enjoyed our time with family. House is beautiful and plenty of space for the 7 of us. Hot tub was nice! Home was very clean, tastefully decorated, and seemed to have everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Wish we didn’t have to make our beds the first night - we were not expecting that. Cleaning lady or property manager pulled up at 9:30AM on checkout day. This made us feel VERY rushed even though we were on time for departure. Fireplace is hard to start but Misty helped us out. Beautiful views, lovely home.

Amazing Place
We set this house up for a family vacation, we have lots of lake vacation memories. VRBO fees make this house pretty expensive. However, honestly, this is a first class home with a n incredible view on an incredible lake. Our family had a terrific time! We rented a pontoon boat very close by, which put the whip cream on top. We recommend this house, well appointed very roomy, and convenient to the dock and lake. You will enjoy!

Great place for a large group!
We had a great stay at the chick lake house. The house was spotless and very accommodating for a large group! Lake was beautiful, prepare yourself for the steps to the lake but that’s just about anywhere in Tenn! I recommend not renting the boat from the third party. It was dirty, old and didn’t run properly. We ended up returning it early. Died several times out on the water with small kids aboard, just not very safe! That was our only negative part about the trip! We will consider coming back just renting a boat elsewhere next time.

BETTER than Expected!
We were soooo pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the home and found it to be bigger and better than we imagined. We had never traveled to this area, so we really did not know what to expect. We were looking for a low-key spot to hang out for the weekend, boat some, float some and just be together and this was PERFECT! The view was AMAZING! The water was never crowded, we tubed and kayaked, and paddle boarded all over, no worries of other boaters at all! Everyone in our group of 15 had a great time and cannot wait to return someday! Hidden gem, hope that the secret does not get out!

Tennessee River House
This was the perfect house our bi-annual family vacation. There were only 7 of us that stayed at the house but everyone had their own bathroom and bedroom and plenty of space to spread out. The upper dock was very nice for the young adults to hang out and tan. We also caught some fish and enjoyed the games in the basement. The house was clean and perfectly stocked. We loved having our dogs with us and appreciate the owner allowing them. There is not a lot to do or places to drive to in the immediate area but honestly we enjoyed just hanging at the house.

Great vacation house for the whole family!
This house is right on the water, is HUGE inside, has plenty of parking, lots of bathrooms, really big hot tub, plenty of towels and linens, beautiful view, and lots of bowls/pans/utensil/etc. It was perfect for my family! It was big enough that we could all have our own space and not be on top of each other like alot of other rentals we have been to. We will definitely be staying here again!

Very beautiful and relaxing location.
This was a great experience. The house was very well kept and there was lots of space. Plenty of towels and utensils to use. The wildlife was fantastic! So many cool birds and fish jumping in the water. The sunsets were to die for. We took a few drives up to the Smokey mountains and Knoxville which were about 90 min away. Overall, fantastic!!

Beautiful House on the River
This house has plenty of room for a group stay. There were 8 adults in our group and we had lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the ping pong, the video golf game, the grill on the deck and comfy furniture and tvs in every room. The view from the deck is gorgeous. Would like to go back when it's warmer to enjoy the outdoor spaces such as upper level on of the dock and the large hot tub. There is a fire pit, I didn't see chairs to sit around it, though I could have messaged the owner to ask. There were just a couple of minor things, recliners in the living room didnt work until we found the 2nd part of the plug in cord for one side, never could find it for the other side. Some of the beds might need an upgrade, some of the bedding was stained and one comforter had a few spots that were hard from what looked like a candy or something. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend and re-visit this lovely, quiet place.

This was a fun getaway weekend for the ladies to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. The space was all clean, and comfortable for gathering and those who needed their alone time. Kitchen had everything I needed and some more when I cooked for them all. Would love to come back as a family in the summer to enjoy the water! Host were wonderful about communication, responding quickly!

Family Stay for Wedding
Stayed in late October, 14 people and the property was as described. There was plenty of room for all and the younger one enjoyed the ping pong table. This was a very nice property that allowed the Family to be together in one place for our Daughter’s wedding.
