“Upon arriving, we were told that Hotel.com had booked us a smoking room. I showed them the e-mail confirmation on my computer only to get remarks such as, "That won't change anything" "It doesn't matter what your e-mail says"... We asked if they could make the change and the lady first said no, and it's not because they were full, just because they got the information that we wanted a smoking room, while never providing any proof that was the what happened. After some negotiation, we were able……

“This hotel is what you would expect from a simple, low start rated hotel. It is nothing special, and certainly got the job done for what I needed for a low key weekend. The staff is friendly and check-in was quick and easy. They answered all questions and were available throughout the whole stay. There is enough parking. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean. The beds are comfortable. The room did not have a coffee maker and you have to go to the lobby to get coffee each morning……

“This is a lovely property, funky and quaint decor, comfortable room and beds. We were there during the week so didn’t have breakfast but the kitchen area is super clean and well stocked with coffee and tea options. The owner was very communicative about arrangements and was flexible when I thought I needed an early check in The shared bathroom is cute and clean. If I’m in the Pittsburgh area again I would definitely go back”

“This property at red roof Inn plus was one of the filthiest properties I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were disgusting. There was actually feces in my bed that they guy had to come change my sheets. The faucet was falling off. The walls was filthy. I have a video. I don’t know if I can post it here but if it gives me the option, I’m going to would definitely not recommend anybody staying here. It’s disgusting.”

“There was no remote for the TV and we asked several times for help getting one. There is no onsite help. There was absolutely no parking available even though it was stated " plenty of free parking on 39th street" this is just absolutely not true. The local people laughed when asked about street parking being available. The check out process was unclear as I couldn't get the key box to open back to depsosit the key back. The studio was really pretty dirty and only 2 bath towels for 2……

“Parking was easy, however there is a median so you need to be on the proper side of the street. Quite a bit away from everything but still a quick drive to downtown and cheaper option than those hotels. Beds were fine although what looks like a quilt is actually another thin top sheet. Original room AC was broken so we got moved no problem, however the second room had no TV in it. ”

“Very clean and comfortable. Located in a shopping area, with free concert nearby from Monday to Thursday. Extended our stay twice, just to stay two more nights in this hotel.”
