「Very nice place, spacious and comfort 」

「Room had newer floors, but furniture and beds were worn. Some towels were stained, grey colored, and very thin. Smelled like cat pee outside of door. Big pile of dirt caused tripping hazard in parking spot. Location was close to main road. No breakfast. Would not book a stay again.」

「It was a cut and dry stop, but the Non-Smoking room had a musty smoke smell as if it was at one point a smoking room. We aired out the room and slept fine but it took a bit to get used to the smell.」

The air unit wasn’t on so we walked over to turn it on and the whole carpet was soaked, assuming that’s why it was off because while on it just continued to leak or condensate all over the carpet, no doubt causing mold issues. 「It was extremely humid and damp inside the room. The bedding was damp, the pillows were damp, the towels were damp; everything was damp, cold and clammy. Both beds were VERY uncomfortable. They were hard and I could feel and hear the springs grinding inside the mattress. There were 2 remote controls and neither one worked well. One was smissing the back of the battery compartment. Both remotes were sticky. There were holes in the shower wall and several other repaired holes in the walls...

「Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house.
