Cozy 1950’s lake front cabin with beautiful sunsets!

Cabin on great swimming and fishing lake in Bowstring, Minnesota. Little Jessie Lake has walleye, pike, panfish and many other species. Cabin has two small bedrooms, a living room with futon and TV (roku/dvd). In the kitchen, there is a microwave, tabletop airfyer/oven combo, dual hot-plate, electric skillet, coffee pot, fridge/freezer, crockpot, and basic utensils/dishes. There is a bathroom with stand-up shower. The site also has room for a camper, and there is electric/water hookups for an additional $30 nightly fee. It’s a wonderful spot for swimming and water-sports. The lake is clear with a sandy bottom, and is shallow for at least a few hundred feet until the lake drop off. It does include fire pit, dock and WIFI. There is a convenience store (bait, fuel, and basic groceries), restaurants, and great four wheeling trails very close by.

Simple perfection
We visited for a quick two day getaway. The cabin was perfectly described, very clean and had a welcome note with treats for the kids. The lake and land are clean and gorgeous. It was cooler weather a space heater was provided along with extra bedding to stay warm. You get the feeling that they really care about your stay, along with the adorable vintage cabin. The weather wasn’t great but we made the most of it and the kids didn’t care! We will be back for a warmer stay with more swimming.

Cute cabin!
This was a perfect summer cabin for us to stay in and explore the grand rapids area! It is a little bit of driving to get to grand rapids but we didn't mind! We didn't get to hang out by the lake as much as we would like but we enjoyed the view for the little time we did have by the lake!

Great stay
We stayed here for 4 days. The cabin is right on the lake with a couple of other places nearby, but very quiet, clear and gorgeous lake. We caught tons of fish, wonderful wildlife, and the cabin provided everything we wanted for a rustic cabin vacation! Hosts were great and we appreciate it!!

Cozy cabin perfection
This was the perfect spot for our MN cabin weekend. Screw the giant luxury lakehomes, this cabin felt like true Minnesota. The cabin was small and cozy, but it was perfect. What more could you need? The yard was huge and the beachfront was sandy and shallow—so much room to play! There was even a volleyball/badminton net. The property was beautiful, the lake was crystal clear, and the cabin was quaint and adorable. Would 100% come back. Not to mention the amazing hosts! I told them we were coming up for a birthday trip and they left us a card with some treats and wine!! Unreal. Get your butts over there.
