"Check in was great room ready and exactly what we asked for, activities coordination was very helpful room had a beautiful view breakfast was included and it was great."
"The staff and service was excellent. Super professional, kind, and hospitalable. The check-in process was smooth. Shuttle will transport you across the desert to the camp site. Campsite was beautiful and taken care of well from the outside. Set proper expectation: more of a glamping experience, rather than a luxury hotel. The rooms were clean but a little dated and floors and fixtures on the inside of the rooms were pretty worn. The rooms are in need of a good renovation. But beds and couch were great. Beds were soft and comfy and pillows were great. Shower was a little tight but very good water pressure and hot water. Hammock and hot tub outside the room were the perfect touch. Both also were dated and kind of deteriorating, but worked fine and were very enjoyable.
We booked a truck excursion right from the hotel, a 2 hour sunset tour where we went out into the desert, got a climb a few hills to get good views and got good pictures and videos taken by the driver. He will stop by a few Bedouin tents to get you to experience the culture and they will serve you hot tea and play some music. Take a few dinars to tip the bediun hosts. I tipped each of the two stops 2 dinars. After arriving back at campsite dinner was served, followed by a bonfire where we stargazed. Overall amazing experience! Just hope the old deteriorating furniture can be updated for a better experience."
"Perfect camp ! Once you visit it you’ll want to come back here 😍 beautiful surroundings perfect for small hiking, delicious food, comfortable tents and the kindest host . I recommend"
"Room was not cleaned nor bins emptied during our 3 night stay. Toiletries not replenished( just 2 sachets of shampoo). Meals were like school dinners- queue up,food added to your plate, return plate to serving table having emptied any leftovers in bin. Food not haut cuisine, and very carb heavy. Deluxe tents were excellent. Well equipped with plentiful sockets. lovely private bathroom en-suite with shower basin and loo. Lacked tea and coffee making facilities and robes . Everywhere needed a good clean. Tissues etc under bed from last guests on arrival and bathroom covered in toothpaste marks. Off site Manager was very very good. Sorted out our problem with tours quickly and helpfully, and was a man of honour. Overall, this is a well located camp with stunning views from the tent, really accessible- you can drive to and keep your car at the camp- and the overall manager is great. On site management needs an improvement regarding cleanliness, food quality and service. However, the price offered for the accommodation is low- and to be honest I should have expected a lower standard as reflected in the price. I suspect that overall this camp is probably one of the better ones. If we were to return we would have paid extra and gone for a site/ hotel type with a swimming pool which also has excellent food.

"We stayed at Oasis Rum Camp and had an unforgettable experience! We stayed in one of their beautiful private bubble villas, which was spacious, clean, and offered incredible views of the desert and night sky.
Their communication before check-in was excellent. The staff called an hour before our arrival to confirm the timing, shared detailed directions with a pinned location, and explained the check-in process clearly. When we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for an amazing stay.
In the evening, we had dinner at their wonderful restaurant, which had authentic Bedouin vibes. The highlight was watching the team uncover the traditional Zarb (meat cooked underground) before serving it fresh. The buffet was fantastic, with plenty of options including Arabic pickles, salads, pasta, soups, and the flavorful zarb meat that melted in our mouths.
The ambiance at dinner was cozy and lively, and the staff were kind and attentive. We enjoyed freshly made pomegranate, lemon and mint juices. Everything tasted great and truly reflected their generous Bedouin hospitality. Later, we relaxed at the café by the pool, enjoyed a perfect shisha, and soaked in the peaceful desert night.
At night, the stars above the camp were breathtaking. I captured some incredible photos that looked straight out of a dream. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast while watching the sunrise, a perfect end to our stay.
Overall, our one night stay at Oasis Rum Camp was nothing"
