Starfish

We had a great stay at Starfish! Everything was so easy, the property manager was in contact for any of our needs, and the property had everything we needed. Such a great location right by the beach, excellent outdoor space, and really good air conditioning! We will recommend and stay there again. Thank you for such a great family stay!

Solid Spot

Had a great stay, no issues! The check in process had to be done over the phone & was more time consuming / cumbersome than need be - could have been a form you fill out or something. Not the end of the world, wouldn’t stop me from booking it, but could be better!The traffics by the road next to it was a little noisy, but other than that, a very lovely home & we had a great stay!

Great location and outdoor spaces

Wonderful outside spaces and very close to the beach with even a view of the ocean from the kitchen and deck. So nice that our dog could join us as well. The upstairs living area is very open and nicely decorated. The downstairs where the bedrooms and main bathrooms are would benefit from an update. Overall very nice place to stay in Del Mar.

Perfect Location

Our original vacation was canceled with less than a week's notice. I pretty much assumed that we'd have to cancel our vacation, but the Sandy Starfish was available and saved the day! We all loved that we could easily walk to the beach, come home to rest or eat and then walk back to the beach. It was perfect!

This house is a cozy little home one block off the beach in Del Mar. It is located between the downtown and dog Beach. It has a lovely, bright, living area and kitchen and three functional bedrooms downstairs. It was a nice day I would stay here again. This is not a luxury property, but it was a very nice beach house and great value.

Beach Retreat

We had a lovely week at this beach house. It is comfortable for a family and has everything that you need. We especially appreciated the location and the air conditioning. The dining deck outside is really pleasant!

Great beach spot, one block off the beach; house is quaint and beachy, kitchen appliances could use some extra love, but comfortable home, great responsive hosts, can't be beat!

Great Location

The best thing about this place is the location. We loved how close it was to the beach. Two short blocks and you are on the best beach in Del Mar! The outdoor shower and hot tub were a wonderful way to rinse off and warm up after the beach, as June tends to be a little cool. The house is very beachy and pleasant with living quarters upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. There is a nice upper deck off of the kitchen. The inside stairs are pretty steep. I was glad my 84 year old mother decided not to come. We had a wonderful time. Del Mar is a great place to visit. Friendly people. Great food. We are missing taco Tuesday at Jakes already.
