The Horse and Hound was a lovely place to stay the night. The pub had friendly and welcoming staff and the food was delicious. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
Owners were super nice Kevin loves sports of all kind, which made for some conversation. Food was outstanding, best pasta dish I had on this trip, which included a week in Italy. Location is perfect for site seeing.
It was an extremely wonderful place to stay. The rooms were quite lovely right on the property is a bar and restaurant. Fish and chips were good. Very tasty.
Clean and comfortable, lots of parking. Lovely pub and restaurant down stairs. Five minutes drive to Greystones where there are a great choice of restaurants and shops.
Lovely spot for a stay , room was excellent and the bar staff were very hospitable .
Will look to come back and stay with my family , lovely bar and town well worth a visit
The Horse & Hound was a lovely historic stay for our 1st night in Ireland. The food at the restaurant was very good, (especially the blackberry & apple crumble). Convenient off street parking. The only complaint we had, (and not the property's fault), was that we were exhausted from the travel and 6 hour time difference, and the beer garden on a Saturday night just outside our window wasn't really helpful for getting a good night's sleep. If you are up for a good party, you would probably enjoy the property more than two exhausted Americans on their first night on "the emerald isle."
This was our first time in Europe and it was for our wedding anniversary. We love the restaurant below the rooms as well as the location. The street was very quiet at night and the TV had many available channels. Overall a very pleasant stay!
It was a lovely cosy hotel
Perfect for us and the restaurant was amazing and very friendly staff
We were visiting friends in Wicklow so perfect location
