到着が深夜になる事を事前に連絡してあったのに到着すると表門が閉鎖されおり全く人気が無くて、立ち往生状態で、TAXI運転手が大声で怒鳴りドンドン表門を叩いてやっと従業員が出て来て中に入れた。 翌朝のデリー駅までのTAXIも事前に頼んでいたのですけど、わずか１０分程の距離で４５０Rsと滅茶苦茶高い。もう二度と使わない。 ホテル紹介サイトもちゃんとホテルを調べてから紹介するべきです。 場所も車が通らに路地にあって何をするにも非常に不便です。

Hi Thanks for your valuable feed back, and this is to informs that as per the New Delhi police security purposes we have close the door for night, but 24 hrs security person available our Hotel. and Taxi people charge Rs. 450 for New Delhi train station, because this is private cab, and cab people calculate the price for up & down charges, May be we are sorry for the inconvenience cause to you our Hotel, In future we will take all necessary arrangement for you , so please inform to arrival time in advance. we will hope to you service again with good manner.

Overpriced for literally sub standard facilities
I stayed there with my parents, and I was not at all satisfied with the services and facilities: 1. Hot running water- had to call up the room service twice, only to have it fixed not before 2 hours. there was no hot water in the wash basin faucets. 2. The staff (excluding the house keeping and restaurant) were not very hospitable. 3. I found the lighting of the washrooms to be a bit dingy. Positives: 1. Good location 2. Buffet breakfast was delicious 3. Decent wi-fi connection 4. Rooms are well sized

Good hotel and food
I enjoyed eating south Indian breakfast every day, and when I ordered room service for dinner the food was very good. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. Good location, walking distance to Connaught Place and a quick walk to the Barakhamba metro stop.

Too close to the train station
The hotel itself is kinf of OK. However, there's a bug problem of being too close to the train station. Trains horn and rock the whole building. It seems that there are no trains between midnight and 6AM, so night sleep is enabled. 5-7 minutes walk to Connaught Place.

Hotel is quite decent ..food is nice but the room service didn't bother to pick the phone after 12 midnight so I had to survive without drinking water till the morning ,neither the room service guy came to clear the left over dinner even after the request. Rest of the experience was good

Excellent Location. Nice Rooms and Service.
This is the ideal place to stay near Connaught Place and Railway Stations and Metro Stops. Much nicer location than Paharganj. Residential neighborhood next to 5 star Lalit Hotel is quiet and charming. Like you are not in Delhi, but all the transport you need anywhere. Great value.

Hotel was in a good location (near metro station and shopping area). Hotel roomed bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was included however breakfast largely consisted of Indian food and did not particularly cater to the western palate. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Hotel was in a generally quiet are but the rooms are not sound proof and at times it felt like the windows were open.

3人で1部屋、キングサイズベッドが1つしかなく、結局もう一部屋追加で取ることになりました。 しかし、部屋は綺麗だし、暖房、ホットシャワー24h完備でよかったが、立地的にコンフォートプレイスから若干外れた場所なので、近くにタクシーやオートリクシャは無く、出かける時はホテルにタクシーを頼まないといけなかった。

One night stay in New delhi
This was the first time I was in India and it was a trip for attending in an exam. I was nervous about the hotel's environment and the noisy location of the exam and the hotel, which is near to exam centre. I was afriad not being able to sleep enough the night before the exam, but the hotel Emarald was a place I felt safe, in term of hotel staff who were very friendly and nice, the silence of my room, which I've asked for, and the breakfast . I recommend this hotel to my friends for short time stay.

部屋にフルーツが置いてあり、またエアコンは暖房にもできます。 このホテルで、ルームサービスでお昼を食べました。カレー1品が200ルピーくらいで、ホテルのルームサービスなのに、安いです。 チェックアウトの後、荷物を20時まで無料で預かってもらうことができました。 無料のWIFIも、とても接続が良いです。

location is perfect Service just ok for that hotel its business hotel, after long day work, fighting with traffic and noice pollution, once would like to have a sound sleep, i felt i am sleeping on the station!!!! train eng was right side of my room, whole night i could not get sleep with the noise, you can image all trains ply in night wow i willl never suggest that hotel to any one nor i will ever stay there again

Right behind the 5 star Lalit so good neighbourhood. Walking distance to Connaught Place and various bazaars. I only had breakfast but it was great and good service around that. Room was tourist hotel class so good enough.

Hotel Emarald is located near Connaught Place and the New Delhi Train Station. The room was very modern and clean, with a shower and toilet. You need to run the water for at least 10 minutes to get warm, but it will eventually be hot. It is about a 30-minute walk to the train station, and not an easy route to follow, so I would recommend taking a cab or autorickshaw. The location of the hotel is a little difficult to find at first, so you should tell your driver it is near World Trade Center or LaLit hotel. The staff were very helpful, but not overly friendly. Free breakfast is included with the room, although it is nothing to get excited about. What you should get excited about is that the wifi internet actually works, which we have found rare while traveling over seas.

Hotel Emarald, New Delhi, India. Booked via Hotels.com. Stayed 4 days/3 nights. Twin Bed This property is location is location, location, location. Neighborhood is great and safe. Walking distance to Connaught Place, the center of Delhi, with bunch of shops, street market, Rajiv Chowk & Barakhamba road metro station, buses, park, restaurants, underground market, walking distance to Jantar mantar, almost all airline offices, post office, etc (list goes on). Rooms where below average clean. Bathroom was under lighted. Their is a railway right behind the hotel. Room is not sound proof. We where not able to sleep all night. Train blows air horn like every 30-mins. The lights keeps fluctuating all day and night. Another problem was you don't have keys to your room. Means every time you want to get into room, you have to wait until someone opens it for you. Breakfast was included in our package. But it was Cold every single day, except the Masala tea which was the best thing they have. Boiled eggs where under cooked. They charge Rs 150/person for breakfast if its not included. Which is not worth it. I would rather go to Connaught Place, pay little more for 2 people and have a la carte breakfast. There are no safe in rooms. It seems like their was only one staff member that was working. Everybody else will work if boss is walking by or is around. Don't take it as a complain, but if you can improve in this areas, this will be the best rated hotel near Connaught place. I plan to visit again. I would not stay their again.

The heating system didn't work in either of the two rooms I was put up in. The controller makes you think you will get warm air so you don't ask for more blankets. But I think they were not set up for heating, just cooling. No desk to set up the computer on. convenient location though

This 2 night stay was a nightmare.........
Nothing works right in this hotel apart from the courtesy and effusiveness of the staff as well as the clean bedroom. Nightmare started from my 1st night; couldn't get hot water to take a shower. Then the WIFI went down. It was worse yet the following morning when they had to bring in 2 buckets of hot water for me to take a bath after much ado and loss of time - in a 4 star hotel? Internet was still down next morning and my day was in disarray already. Although they eventually changed my room when I got back, it really was no better - water from the shower was barely luke-warm. The bathrooms are dysfunctional and poorly appointed - no towel racks for instance. I would not stay at this hotel even if it was for free. It should be delisted or at least reclassified.
