I liked the restaurant upstairs. Breakfast served dail and dinner to order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Small fridge services available which meant you didn’t have to go and buy snacks. Water provided as well. Close to metro.

When I arrived, there was building work going on. This went on all during the night. In the morning I went down for breakfast to be told the hotel didn’t have a kitchen anymore. When I looked up the stairwell, the hotel apparently didn’t seem to have a roof either!!! This is what they were working on - fitting new roof and kitchen. The room itself was awful - no window and a filthy shower that worked sometimes. NEVER AGAIN!

We had an issue where we had a confirmed & paid for room thru Expedia. The hotel apparently hadnt had a voucher sent to them by Expedia. Surya International Hotel tried to palm the problem to us, expecting us to prove our booking (we had our confirmed paperwork) it took a good hour of 'discussion' to get the problem sorted. Some front desk staff need a lesson in politness! Some rooms are quite dingy & run down. Others have been refurbed. Im not sure whether all rooms will eventually be updated. Otherwise the location is OK.

Great clean beautiful hotel.

The hotel room and bathroom are very nice and everything works. The only drawback is you have to phone and tell them you want hot water. They connect you to the boiler. The breakfast is very good with juice, fruit, cereal, toast, eggs, Indian food, coffee and tea. The area is good and close to the metro. Just walk up about 5 blocks, past Punjab Sweet a big popluar restaurant, and when you see a big red SRI sign, turn left and walk another 2 blocks. This hotel is good value for the money!

One of the best budget hotel in Karol Bagh.

I stayed in this hotel for a few times. The staff is very helpful and polite. It is right in the Karol Bagh shopping centre. I tried different hotels before, but it is one of the best and safest hotel around that area. Love to stay here again.

ok so this is no waldorf or jw marriott, but if you want to stay in the middle of the market at Karol Bagh, this is one to keep on your short list. The location is great. the staff is pleasant and welcoming. Very helpful. The rooms are clean, cleaner than my last visit one year ago. The free breakfast is a limited menu, but tasty. The room rates are reasonable. The internet works well in the rooms.

INJURED AND CUT LEGS ON BED ENDS 4 TIMES DURING 3 DAY STAY.(MINE 3 TIMES,WIFE ONCE) VERY SHARP.COMPLAINED BITTERLY TO STAFF.MANAGER AWAY FOR 3 DAYS. TO MANY MEALS NOT AVAILABLE THAT WERE ON RESTUARANT MENU. BATH TOWELS LIKE CARDBOARD. GOT TO RING RECEPTION AFTER 6 pm FOR HOT WATER AND THEN WAIT 10 MINUTES. NO WINDOWS.CITY VIEWS FROM ROOF. NO KITCHEN AS LISTED,PLUS LOTS MORE NOT IN ROOM. DEFINITELY NOTHING LIKE AS INDICATED ON .

bang for your buck

great location for shopping, but they put me in a downgraded room their excuse was that they did not have the room grade I had paid for available when I checked in. the hotel is clean and well maintained.

Not a great hotel in India

I stayed up on the 4th floor, which is near the restaraunt (which includes a small outdoor seating area), and had a corner room. Unfortunately, there was no view from the (very small) window, which was positioned over the fridge. The A/C worked fine, as did the ceiling fan. The bathroom was very unappealing - the tile was green with mold spots, and there was mold/mildew all over the ceiling & the back of the door. The shower was very poor - almost no water pressure at all, and the water I did get was cold.
