Serene farmhouse with AC in charming Olathe

"This was the perfect place for our family - plenty of space and the house layout is ideal for a sleeping baby (the carpeted master bed is segregated from the noisier parts of the house). I appreciated the lack of scented plug-ins, so if you’re sensitive to fragrance, this is the perfect place! This property is peaceful and quiet and the stars at night are so magical. Olathe is a special little town perfectly situated near Montrose (and Ouray etc), but close enough to Paonia or the Mesa. My 4 little kids and I had a wonderful stay and we’d suggest this place to any family traveling through or visiting loved ones in the area. Everything is very user-friendly and we had no issues with tech or AC."

"This was an excellent place in a central location to so many trout fishing spots, restaurants, national parks, and close to the airport... not to mention excellent trout fishing right outside the door. We averaged catching three brown trout a piece when stepping out and fishing first thing in the morning before heading out for the day. Would definitely stay here again."

"This place is amazing! The pictures are great but seeing this home and property in person is something special. Great history about this place and all the comforts of home, better than I expected. Great hosts, gave us all the info we needed to make the most of our time. The city has a few neat places to shop and eat but really we stayed here for the local mountain experience. It’s only a short drive to all the lakes and hiking trails on Grand Mesa! Thanks for helping to make our vacation even more memorable. I loved waking up to the sound of the nearby creek every morning! That was the best part."

"I don’t even know to describe this stay aside from heaven on earth, at least for us. Rooms are fabulous, the setting is wonderful. It’s still being built, that wasn’t an issue for us at all but could be for others. Come with food as it’s very remote but has a wonderful kitchen, there is a small farm shop if you get stuck."
