Short but sweet!
This was the perfect place to stay for a group of 16. More than enough space to fit everyone comfortably and sleeping arrangements were exactly as described. We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub, sitting around the fire and playing games in the games room. The nearby cafe and bakery was the perfect place to stroll to in the mornings! My only suggestion is that most rooms do not have blinds/curtains so it gets very light, very fast - eye masks for sleeping can be handy especially if you are a light sleeper. Thanks Cecelia for hosting us!

Mt Baker family ski gathering
There were 19 of us, all cousins and adult nieces and nephews, doing our annual gathering at a ski area. This was our first time here. The house was great. Lots of room, comfortable beds and nice bedding, a newer hot tub, a very large play room and an equally large hang out room with a large table for playing games and eating, a large L-shaped couch and a TV for watching movies. Having just two bathrooms for so many guests is definitely a bit of an issue.

Great Place Near Mt. Baker for Large Groups
This is a good place for large groups of all ages. In spite of little snow this year and only one day of skiing, we had a good time in the house. The children found lots to do in the game room and cozy living room. We did a nearby hike along the river on one day and walked the trails just behind the house on another day. It's a real rain forest back there. The kids made a hobbit house with large sticks and moss. Lots of fun for everyone. We would love to come back another year when there is more winter snow!

Great Place!
This was a great place for our family 3 days and two nights stay. It was clean and very spacious. At first I was a bit nervous about their bed bugs review so we literally checked all of their beds. Luckily, we didn’t find any bed bugs or any indication of bed bugs. The cabin has everything you need. It was close to Mt Baker so made it easy for our trip to the mountain for snowboarding and sledding. Additionally, the host was very responsive. Cecilia made the check-in and check out process quick and easy. I would recommend this cabin to others.

Can't wait to go back!
Cecelia's place is such a gem and my friends and I can't wait to go back! It's not always easy to find a place that can accommodate a group of our size (there are about 20 of us, plus a 1 year old) but this home was so wonderfully spaced out, and is very well taken care of. The house large enough that our friends with their baby were always able to find a quiet room. Cecelia is a wonderful host, 10/10 will be booking again!

Lovely and large space
A group of friends and I stayed here for a few days while visiting north cascades and it was a lovely trip. The house was spacious and close to town and the national park. Very easy check in. And we had fun in the hot tub :) would definitely stay here again!

Annual Girls ski weekend
Cecilia is a great host. The place was perfect for all 21 of us. The beds were comfy, and we loved the games in the game room. The kitchen is very well stocked and the hot is probably the cleanest one we’ve had at any place we’ve rented . Close to Baker and the local bar. We had an awesome weekend!

Cecelia & Seth’s ski cabin was perfect. We had a large group which the house accommodated easily. The location was perfect. Right by the ski and coffee shops, just down the road from Chair 9, and an easy drive to Baker to grab the first chair up. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Glacier's Best Cabin
I couldn't imagine a more accommodating and well placed house for our annual guys trip. This house made it possible to make a million memories and offers a unique layout with plenty of space. Cecelia and Seth were quick to respond and helpful with any and all questions. This house made Mt Baker a truly incredible trip. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back!

This massive house was perfect for everyone! It was fully equipped, had lots of space and something to do for everyone. Really easy to get to and close to a corner store. Would definitely go back!

Glorious Stay!
My family and friends stayed 3 nights at this house and we had a blast! There were more than enough sleeping areas, a great room that was perfect for lounging in and watching football. (You’ll need to stream to watch). The massage chair was a hit but the Sauna took first place! The game room in the garage was awesome, we played pool and air hockey almost nonstop. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage which was great for beers! There are trails all around for some good hiking. We happened upon a skate park out in the woods, interesting and unexpected find! We skied a day at Baker, about a 30 minute drive from the house. Not too shabby! All in all, I recommend staying here, especially if you have a large group! The owners communication was great!

Ski Weekend Getaway
We had a great weekend staying at this house while skiing! The house is well suited for a group of friends with a well stocked kitchen and a hot tub. There is plenty of parking and lots of privacy. I would highly recommend this house for a stay in the Glacier area! Cecelia and Seth were great hosts with great communication.

Exactly as expected
We enjoyed the privacy of this property and the ample parking. The house we exactly what was advertised. We had some trouble with the hot tub but that could have just been our inability to understand the instructions that were very clearly laid out. Lots of towels and one of the best stocked kitchens. As with most rentals the frying pans are not the best but that’s because other guests have not taken care of them so I would (as I always do) recommend bringing your one if you’re particular. They were usable. The garage game room is so awesome as you can open up the doors to the outside.

Perfect gathering spot!!
We loved this cabin! Lots of sleeping space for our group & plenty of activities for everyone. If you wanted to be outdoors there was hiking, outdoor games & a fire pit for evenings. Indoors was a game room with a pool table, Foose ball, poker table, board games, etc. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a large group. If there was any drawback it’s that there were only two bathrooms. But we made it work. All in all a fun place to stay & I know we’ll be back.

Beware of bed bugs
Unfortunately we found bed bugs in one of the rooms at the end of our stay. We arrived to the property on Friday July 15 at night and through Saturday and Sunday some of our friends complained about being itchy, which we attributed to the large amount of mosquitos being outside. However by Monday morning a few hours before we were set to leave, every person staying in the loft room with the pullout beds woke up covered in multiple bed bug bites and one of our friends even had an allergic reaction. After inspecting the loft beds you could even see the bugs crawling on the sheets. We woke up the entire house to warn them and started pulling the bedsheets for more signs of bed bugs and immediately started washing and drying all our clothes to make sure we didn't bring a possible infestation back to our homes. This process took a few hours as we had multiple people in the house and had to do several loads of laundry. We informed the property owner of the bed bugs and that we were still trying to sanitize our clothes by checkout time, and the property owner showed up to tell us that we had to leave immediately because the next guests were set to arrive. We reiterated that there were bed bugs in the beds and showed pictures of the bugs and that it would be unsafe to let other guests stay without a proper inspection, but still the owner was more concerned about getting us out of the house and letting the next guests in. Checkout time was at 11 and we left at 1:30 after we'd finished the last load of laundry and as soon as we left we got charged with a late checkout fee and they claimed a pest company examined the place (we never saw anyone else show up). We just wanted to make sure our stuff was clean before we left to prevent spreading, this was all incredibly stressful, some of us had flights to get to and places to be so its not like we wanted to delay on purpose. Just terrible experience, wish we could warn the next guests.

It is unfortunate that these guests experienced some sort of bug bites and assumed it was bed bugs. The communication came in at 10:52 am when they were supposed to be checking out. We are in a very forested area and anyone could have brought something back into the property from any hike or outdoor activity. We have had several rentals since their stay and a pest company out and confirmed there are no bed bugs. No other guests have experienced bites as these guests describe since their stay. We wish these guests the very best.

50th Anniversary with Family
We had a fantastic time with family. My grandson, Matthew, a chef, did all the cooking. What a plus. Family did a lot of hiking, playing pool, cards and other games beside just sitting around relaxing and catching up. If I changed anything I would hope to have a hand rail on the on the bottom of the stairs.

Everything we wanted for our group getaway!
This house has everything you want and need! The location is unbeatable, so close to Mt Baker with the forest view from the back yard. There's even a cute coffee shop a short walk away. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. The game room was so fun and even had a fantastic record collection. There were plenty of towels for use after a relaxing hot tub, sauna, or shower. Cecelia & Seth are wonderful friendly hosts and provided great info before our stay and responded quickly to my questions. I would absolutely recommend this cabin if you're looking for a fun nature getaway. We will be returning.

Nice and spacious house with lots of opportunities for entertainment and relaxation.
Very warm and cozy house for the winter. We had a wonderful white New Years celebration and a beautiful cross country skiing experience on the first of January at Salmon Ridge Sno-Park, which has groomed ski trails. The hosts were very helpful, always responding quickly, on time.

Fantastic family cabin near Glacier and Mt. Baker!
We had a fantastic time at Baker Haus with extended family! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It was nice to have so many beds. The rec room especially was a hit, and the record collection was fun. I loved the private, wooded location and enjoyed the easy walk to town. Although the kitchen is well-stocked, we ate out several times. The pizza and nachos at Chair 9 were quite good. We wanted to experience the history and quirky-ness of Graham’s, so we ate there as well, and had some great burgers and fries. The Wake and Bakery is a must for coffee or breakfast. The location is perfect for some amazing hikes in the area. Horseshoe Bend Trail follows the North Fork of the Nooksack River was very easy. Some of the more adventurous in our group hiked Heliotrope Ridge. So beautiful! The only thing I wish I had known before coming is that the rec room and downstairs bedroom is three steps down from the kitchen/dining room level (good to know for the older ones in our family) and that the kitchen/dining room does not have a living area directly adjacent to it. We definitely would stay here again! Great house in a perfect location!

Great place.
Great place. Has a small sauna and jacuzzi. Has great hang out places. I totally recommend this place. The only negative is that it feels old, the door to the jacuzzi didn’t close and open well. Little things here and there. But generally it’s a great place for a big crowd.

Overall a Good Experience
Overall we had a good experience at the Baker Haus. The home itself is very large with lots of room! We had plenty of beds and space for our big family. There were plenty of towels also which was great. The linens were washed and the overall space was pretty clean. The were a few broken and outdated items in the home (a massage chair, some arcade games). When we arrived the staircase going up to the loft was missing some back pieces which made it unsafe for the kiddos going up and down. Also, the couch in the garage/play room was falling apart and kinda dirty. It didn’t look very pleasant and we didn’t spend as much time in there as we would’ve liked. Otherwise, everything else was great. The hot tub and sauna were a huge plus. The bathrooms, though few, were big and spacious. I would come here again, but only if a few items were fixed/changed to improve the space.

We loved the location and the scenery. There were plenty of beds for everyone. Our only issue was the hot water was hard to adjust in the shower and the bathtub didn’t function well at all. One more bathroom would have been nice for that amount of people. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.

Dream come true
The Baker Haus was amazing! We had our small elopement ceremony here and couldn't have asked for a better place to have it. The house was extremely clean, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, has a BEAUTIFUL back yard, privacy, and something for everyone to do while relaxing in the mountains. Foosball, pool table, POP A SHOT BASKETBALL, hot tub, sauna, even a record player with some vinyl they allow you to use. The house is spread out nicely to where people can still enjoy all the amenities it has to offer, and not have to worry about disturbing anyone that may want to sleep in or take a nap. It has a little store and a few restaurants within walking distance. There is a shuttle bus within walking distance that takes you up to the mountain during snow season. Cell service is smore elusive than bigfoot in the area, but wifi works great! Amazing property and amazing hosts! 10/10 you want to rent this place.

Beautiful, comfortable house in a great location
Our group really enjoyed staying here. The beds were comfortable, the layout of the house was great--good spaces for cooking, games, relaxing, etc. The spa, sauna, and beautiful trees helped us find our zen. Our only issue was the listing says 6 rooms, but only 4 of them are fully enclosed. It worked out just fine, but it's a good thing to be aware of. Also, the beds in each room were a little different from the listing. We got clarity from the owners in advance, but again, something to be aware of. We would stay here again!

Bakerhaus Vacation
We had a great winter wonderland vacation at Bakerhaus. We received over 18 inches of powder snow while our week stay at this house, we truly enjoyed it. House was clean and lots of supplies for cooking, great family games. I would recommend to make sure you drive AWD car while staying during snowy winter months, I would also recommend that the posting state that there is a base of 6 people and every extra person is an additional charge. Another addition to the instructions to heatpump controls is how to make sure that house stays warm in the morning to evening and a little more cool at night to sleep comfortable. The stairs to 3rd floor (where kids love to play and where toys are) are dangerous, make sure if you have kids to watch them, we had little one almost fell through stair as they are slippery. Over all house is 5/5, owners with great communication. Thank you for letting us stay here!

Overall great stay, but some concerns.
Overall this was a great cabin and we had a blast. The house is very accommodating, cozy, and clean for a large group. Although, We learned a valuable lesson, which is to walk through the property on your arrival day. Take pictures of any damage you see and send to owner so that you and your group do not get accused and then possibly charged for damage not caused by you. There was a broken bed we didn’t even use. This must have been missed previously and was definitely not caused by our group. We did not end up getting charged anything, but was disappointing to be accused of this. Also check the hot tubs cleanliness. You will apparently get charged if it’s left too dirty. On our arrival day the water wasn’t the cleanest and there was sand at the bottom of the tub. We’re happy we reported it right away as we feel we could of been accused/charged of leaving a dirty hot tub. ( since they have outlined warnings about fines you could get if you leave hot tub dirty) Also, We didn’t have propane the first night which was a bit of a bummer as we wanted to bbq. These are just things to keep in mind about this property. We had an overall wonderful stay. We would still recommend this property as it truly is a great spot.

Perfect for a group ski weekend!
My friends and I were so very impressed with how wonderful this place was. The hot tub was perfect apres ski, the game room proved to be very fun and it was well located. The drive up to the mountain isn't too long and we didn't end up needing chains on any of our cars in order to get to the cabin or the mountain, which was very nice. The welcome packet is super thorough and helpful. We really loved staying there.

Such a Special Place
This place is awesome and worked great for our large group. So many great features of this house: jacuzzi, sauna, game room... this place has it all. On top of that the owners were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this spot and would love to stay here next time we visit.
