I struggled tonight with the light. I really wish I could invest in a nice filter kit, including some grad filters were I could also attach a polarizer. Here's the only decent shot. I managed. The sky was just too bright. #BVSquad

Thought I was in for a full blown blue hour evening, but eventually that faint light behind the mountains did get a little bit brighter and I got another shot I was a little happier with. #BVSquad #BVSBlue
I was shooting in the complete opposite direction, facing the sunset and the mountains. I had some nice rocks in the foreground that I really liked, but the color just wasn't there behind the mountains. Finally I bailed and walked to the other side of the peninsula to grab this shot of the insane cloud being lit up by the sun. As you can tell I was just a little late as the light had already started to fade from it, but something is better than nothing I suppose. #BVSquad
This lake is 3 blocks from the house I've lived in for almost a year now, but tonight was the first time I've taken my camera here. The sunsets had been exploding all week but not tonight of course. Overall pretty happy with it though. #BVSquad
