great family beach getaway

this was a great location for a family beach trip. House is great. Game room was fun. The beach is a short walk and has tide pools. There is a great playground in the development as well. It was very quiet and peaceful

Needs improvements, but overall comfortable

We enjoyed staying in the Bella Beach neighborhood. However, this house definitely needs some updating, and there were also some cleanliness and safety issues throughout. The bonus carriage house is a nice plus if you have extra guests, but we didn't. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace.

Awesome Vacation

I cannot say enough positive things about this rental! It was super clean, very well stocked, beds were super comfy, and the location was perfect. We are a large family and the Tides at Bella Beach was everything we hoped for. Quick walk to the beach and a cute coffee shop right across the street. Awesome game area for the kids, clean hot tub to relax in, and Weber grill to bbq. I highly recommend that his place to anyone looking for a relaxing Depoe Bay Vacation!!

Annual September family gathering

From the moment we got there it was magical. The house was cozy, well maintained and stocked. The neighborhood was cute. We liked the kitchen becauseour family does a lot of cooking and eating. The walk to the beach seemed a bit longer than the ad said, and it seemed a bit intrusive to have the security camera worth the hot tub in view. Otherwise your home was the perfect spot for our family. Ages 1 to 90.

Great location!

Comfortable accommodations and great location. Family of 7 adults stayed here. Very clean with lots of towels! (Found the throw rugs with no rubber backing on the wood floors to be a slipping hazard.) So many places to relax. Large hot tub. Found the key to the hot tub in a lockbock next to the door of the carriage house. There is a small and quaint Cafe across the street with good food and great coffee. A short walk to the dog-friendly beach where there are stairs from a deck overlooking the ocean. There is a landing half way down to the beach but my husband has trouble walking and gets winded so he chose to stay and rest on the deck. There is also limited parking available near this beach access. Short drive to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Tillamook Creamery and Georgie's (a restaurant we found overlooking the ocean). We would definitely stay here again!

Family Beach Birthday

The house is absolutely charming, cozy, and immaculate. Beds were very comfy, as was living room couch. Most everything was labeled nicely and laminated info sheets were very helpful. Kitchen was generally well stocked. Showers had great water pressure. Fireplace was nice and heated up main living area well. Lovely front porch. Awesome hot tub, well worth $35 fee. Loved the string lights above it. Neighborhood is charming as well, very dog friendly, and so much fun to wander about. Short walk to our new favorite beach! A few things we suggest…Provide shampoo, conditioner, soap and washcloths in the carriage house. Stock more silverware, especially spoons. Tighten the griddle handle. Label the hot tub key. Add blinds to the kitchen window. Repair broken slat in fence next to hot tub. Definitely would stay here again!

Super Fun Stay for Six!

Our family of 5 (3 kids ages 6-11yo) and grandma had a great time. The hot water heater broke near the beginning of our stay. The owner and mgmt co. did their best to address the situation as quickly as possible in a little town. Communication was great! Fortunately, there's a shower in the loft above the garage w/ its own water heater that we were able to use. My kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the game room despite the musty smell (just open the windows!) and grandma had a blast with her own space in the loft. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Grandma got there first w/ the kiddos... and upon coming and going and having to lock doors - it's interesting that the combination lock is on the "front" door where you canNOT park and unload. Would prefer to have the lock near the driveway for ease of access and to lessen confusion. This house is right across from the cute cafe. Our walk to the beach wasn't too bad! Beautiful beach for all to enjoy.

Would give it 5 stars except for game room

The house is super cute and had lots of amenities. We had four couples and we all felt comfortable and relaxed in the variety of rooms. My brother and SIL had the apartment above the garage and they loved having their own space away from the main house. We enjoyed the hot tub and were thankful that my nephew's dog could accompany us as well. The only drawback was the gameroom, which we were all looking forward to having some fun in however it smelled so badly that we didn't want to linger. It's clearly had some water damage. Also the Ms Pac-man we couldn't get to work because it kept glitching out and the air hockey paddles are missing lots of the felt that makes them glide smoothly. Other than the gameroom, the place is awesome though! We were just really looking forward to family game nights is all but we found other things to play instead.

Beautiful location, needs improvements

It is a cute little house in a great location. We didn’t understand that we had to add the check sign after the number in order to unlock the door. I couldn’t get an immediate answer from the property manager. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. We couldn’t use the hot tub because it was locked up and not heated. We had no internet for 24 hours. One couple stayed in the carriage house and there were no wash cloths, dishes or cutlery. The game room smelled of mildew so bad we did not use it. It is not senior friendly in the downstairs bathroom or getting from the parking at night. The yard has dangerous roots sticking out etc. The owner did listen to our complaints and hopefully these things will be addressed.

We had a great time at the house, and we had enough space for all 5 adults and 3 kids. The cottage house was a little musty and we weren’t aware the room in there was up a steep flight of stairs but otherwise it was great. The beds are comfy and the fireplace kept the room warm in the cooler evening and morning hours. The walk to the beach is tough for little kids and older folks, and the beach access is very steep. Once on the beach though, it’s private and beautiful.

Perfect house for our family vacation!!

We had a full house with 4 kids and 4 adults but the house had plenty of space so we didnt feel crowded, all of the beds were very comfortable. I do feel like the kitchen could be reworked just for the cupboard space because we didnt have anywhere to put our groceries due to over crowding with extra dishes. The beach is beautiful and we spent most of our time there and the walk was really not bad at all. We love your home and will definitely be booking again soon!

Beautiful spot

Loved the neighborhood, house and property. Hot tub was in great condition and clean. Beds were comfy. Front and backyard space were lovely. Across from crepe cafe and block from a neighborhood playground. The beach is just a short walk. Spotted seals swimming each day :)
