Crashing waves, unbeatable views, migrating whales...all waiting for you at this cozy ocean front condo in Depoe Bay. Your visit to the "Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast" is sure to be a memorable one. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch during the migration and you can watch right from the comfort of your own living room! This small coastal village has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world and features a huge sea wall that runs the length of the downtown area.

This wonderful oceanfront hideaway has an open concept great room with a wall of windows providing fabulous views of the bay and ocean. Down the hall are two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king bed and has fantastic ocean views that you can enjoy right from the comfort of your warm bed. The second bedroom has a comfy queen bed to relax in after a day of exploring. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for an additional sleeping option. The full bath and fully stocked kitchen make this a perfect home base for all your central coast activities! A large grassy yard provides the perfect place to have an outdoor picnic while listening to and enjoying the wave action against the basalt rocks that line the coastline in Depoe Bay. After an adventurous day this is the perfect place to sit, unwind and watch the sun sink into the Pacific as you sip on a favorite beverage. Please note: Access to the home is down a rocky incline without any railing.

There is plenty to enjoy all within walking distance from Whale Watcher's Point. Feast at some incredible restaurants, shop in a multitude of different shops, watch a coast guard training exercise or visit the Whale Watching Center. All are sure to provide you with fun and entertainment during your visit!

This is a perfect place to stay in Depot Bay. It was our favorite vacation rental that we have stayed in. That view is the absolute best! The house was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved enjoying our coffee in the morning watching the water.

Had some frustration with safely getting to the door - was mossy and slippery walking from street down to the door. I needed to work and the WiFi was far from functioning. There was no coffee machine. First place I’ve stayed at where there was not a coffee machine in our room. When I asked they suggested I go the the coffee place a block away. The location was ideal for sure

Fabulous place to stay right on the bay. We saw LOTS of whales, were able to cook our meals easily in the well-equipped kitchen, and could walk along the shore to the harbor and city park. The place is clean, quiet, and perfect, everything I could have hoped for, and I am grateful we could stay there!

This property has amazing view of the ocean and watching the whales was fun. You have to park on 101 and the road noice is loud at time, especially the fire trucks. This rental is not ADA friendly. The walkway/driveway is very steep and difficult to walk on. I actually lost my footing and slid down the driveway and luckily I only had some minor injuries. The doorways are narrow and maneuvering around the king size bed would be tricky. A realtor’s office sits above the condo. The backyard has a nice view but it is kind of junky. The grass was not mowed , a pile of bricks just laying around and the signs for the Realtor office laying on the ground.

No direction that was a downstairs entry

Property had a beautiful view however. Explanation of down stairs/ ramp would have been very helpful. Difficult to find w/o photos. Smoke alarms all lost battery power and started beeping had to be taken down. No additional TP other than one roll. As a VRBO owner a book with additional info would have been helpful as well.

Great spot

This was a great spot to stay. Walkable town and you are in the end for walking to Whale Museum and Whale watching point. Cove is beautiful view anytime of day. Good bed, nice showers and clean. Would stay again as I woke up to seeing the Whales which was wonderful.

Abolutely beautiful

Love the veiw every morning and throughout the day and evening. Granddaughters loved looking at the ocean. Loved being able to walk to the shops and places to eat. Definately will go there again

New years tradition

It seems to have become our New Years tradition, to load up and drive to Depoe Bay. This place is perfect for the 4 of us, it’s clean and comfy, with a view to die for. The check in process is easy, as with check out. It is close to all the restaurants and shops. We really enjoy staying at this little place.

The views from this condo were breathtaking and we wish we could have stayed longer! Walking distance to the best restuarants and shops and the world's smallest harbor! We even saw a few whales off shore - this place is magical!

The property was exactly as described. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and inviting. We were within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The views were amazing! I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful view of the ocean

Small, but comfy flat with a view of the ocean that's hard to beat. Especially during king tides. The kitchen is very small, but we didn't really use it besides the fridge and the coffeemaker. There are great restaurants within a couple minutes walk. The bedrooms lean a little towards cramped, but the bed is comfy and the living room is better to hang out in anyway. The view from the living room is fantastic, and there's a nice TV setup for when it gets too dark to see the ocean. My only word of warning would be about accessibility. Older folks or people with mobility issues might find getting to the front door a bit challenging, as its very steep down a driveway, Would definitely stay here again.

Great view

Great view and location, a little difficult approach down the driveway, should allow acces gate and stairs that were blocked off. Nice clean unit, fun time, some outdoor chairs and a little firepit would be a great addition.
