"Room was okay. Door had to be pushed hard to close. Desk lamp didn’t work. Floor looked clean but sandy-feeling. Bed was comfortable. Staff made the difference… they were the main reason for which I didn’t rate this lower. They were professional, kind, and accommodating."

"I just love that the room we were in had hard wood flooring. However, all there rooms do not . . Yet. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel itself; it has a lot of Greenville’s history all around. They even offered a free tee shirt from the Delta Hot Tamale Festival. They offered free parking. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay."

"I arrived and was looking forward to eating at the steakhouse. It is only open Friday and Saturday. They only had a cafe for dining and the experience was terrible. Its a large sit down restaurant but they are operating it as a take out stand. You order at the hostess stand and get a beeper. When the food is ready your beeper goes off and you have to walk to the back of this restaurant to stand in line to show your receipt and get your food. It all comes in styrofoam containers and plastic bags. They will give you plastic utensils if you want to eat there. Its a shame that that is the only dining option during the week and they arent operating the space as a cafe. The menu was full of mostly sandwiches and fried options. There are not sides listed on the menu. I asked the cashier what sides come with the meatloaf and she said I don't know, I haven't worked her very long. No attempt to find out. This was my experience with everyone working there. I ordered taco salad and the meat was ok but it was basically a huge plate of nacho chips with ground beef on top and a handful of lettuce. I like this property overall for the price point but they need to overhaul this "cafe"."

"So from the state of Dumas in general, the hotel was in stunning shape. The rooms had nice tvs, small coffee pots and housekeeping daily. I was shocked that they had daily housekeeping as many smaller places with affordable rooms like this tend to do it weekly. There was a small breakfast available between 6:30 and 9 which I was not expecting, but I enjoyed the limited offerings they had. 10/10 will stay here again when I come into town for work. The only complaint I had (which was not the owner/operator's fault) was that someone below me decided to have a party on one of my last nights there, and had music playing so loudly that it shook stuff on the desk in my room."
