"Come for the views, stay for the peace and quiet. If you're looking for the "Irish farm house feel" this is the one! Nestled deep in the countryside on a hill overlooking where Atlantic ocean meets ths Kenmare river. Walking into the house made feel like I was at my Grandparents home (in idaho). We loved it. Would move here in a heartbeat We thouroghly enjoyed "Nan’s hotel". We are already planning a return visit."

"My friends and I have just returned from a glorious weeks holiday in this superb property. The lovely owners Pat & Kay could not have been more helpful or welcoming, they were there to greet us on our arrival having provided us with excellent directions from Cork airport. The area is breathtaking and beyond simple words, suffice to say pay a visit and see the beauty for yourself. I cannot praise the area or this wonderful property enough. The pictures on the site pale into insignificance...

"The star of the lovely cottage is the scenery. After a drive down a long winding lane we were transported two hundred years into the past. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, sheep in small pastures with a river and waterfalls through it all. The cottage is simple and lovely. Jonathan, the host, Is one of the nicest people we've met, charming, funny and kind. The stay at the lovely cottage was the heart of our journey in Ireland. "
