The speakeasy in the hotel is also a really cool thing. The drinks were good, they had non-alcoholic cocktails for sober friends, the decorations were really cool and kept to the speakeasy theme. The only downfall is the Nationwide Parking garage lol. Depending on where you park, you'll have quite the walk to the hotel. The……

“Clean rooms, happy hour from 5:30-7 where every day you received three free alcoholic drinks and "snacks" that were equivalent to a meal. Free breakfast with that and I didn't spend any money on dinner for my entire stay. ”

“Our stay in downtown Des Moines was for an entire week. This Kasa rental worked very well for us. It was nice having the extra things like kitchen, laundry, living room, game room, etc. that you don't get staying in a hotel. Our room was located in a noisy spot. We heard the garage doors open and close often. We were also awakened by the garage pickup. Still, it was a good value and great location for us.”
