“The property was neat and tidy as was the one bedroom apartment. The ground floor was fairly quiet except for the footsteps of people staying above. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. There was no oven or stovetop so they had a toaster oven and hot plate instead. The view of the neighbouring wall limited the amount of natural light. Overall, it was good value a nice place to stay near the centre of Picton. ”

“We enjoyed our week at The Dans. Place was clean and well-appointed and the combination of rustic century home with modern updates was really charming. All appliances worked well, linens were clean and the place had lots of room to entertain. Check in and check out was super smooth and the hosts were responsive if we had any questions. “This place was exactly what I needed. I was looking for a little getaway from reno’s being done at my house. I will definitely be back when I need another relaxing break from life. It was quiet, cozy, clean and comfortable. There was lake access just a few mins walk down the road and my dogs loved it. It was great that dishes, cutlery, cookware, etc were provided. I love that it was dog friendly, so they could keep me company and get a break too. ”
