Regarding the informative tour you mentioned, our records show that there was an agreement via text the day before your stay to conduct a brief tour due to the unique features of our property. Typically, this tour lasts about 15 minutes, although it may extend by an extra 5 minutes should guests have more questions.We also wanted to mention that the owner attempted to contact you about your van's door being left open, but there was no response. After waiting for a short while, she approached the house to inform you directly, ensuring your belongings' security. We always aim to communicate with our guests in a manner that's both professional and respectful. If our tone seemed off or came across as too stern, we sincerely apologize. We assure you that our intention is to maintain a calm and gentle approach in all our interactions.On the note of dust within the home, it's crucial for the sliding patio and front doors to be promptly closed to prevent dust from entering, especially during unexpected mini wind gusts. Please be assured, the interior has been recently maintained with fresh paint and thorough cleaning.The shower head installed complies with California's water conservation regulations, part of our commitment to sustainability. Regarding the spa issue you encountered, it was addressed the following morning by a skilled neighbor to minimize any inconvenience.The offer for the owner to stay in the sound-proof studio with a private entrance was made with your comfort and assistance in mind, though we understand you declined and chose to leave unexpectedly, leaving the front door unlocked. We're relieved to report there were no subsequent issues from this.We're grateful for the opportunity to host hundreds of satisfied guests over the past 3.5 years, many of whom return to stay with us again. Shared from the homeowner: "Greetings Matthew! My ultimate goal is for my guests to be very satisfied with their stay. I did not hear of any concerns from you during your trip or else I would have promptly responded to resolve any issues. My cleaning crew cleans the home thoroughly so any glass shards would have been removed and brought to my attention ahead of check-in. There certainly should not have been hairs in the shower but as a reassurance, I will instruct my cleaning crew to be more vigilant during future cleaning. Removing linens and returning dishes to the cabinet upon final departure is typical for the vacation rental industry. However, as stated in the Welcome Book, guests have the option to leave their used dishes in the dishwasher before leaving. Thanks for your review!
