“The Sonal Desert Camp was an exceptional experience. We stayed one night as a part of our family trip to India, and all 8 of us loved this peaceful reprieve from the bustle of India. “The property is slightly out side of the main road where most of the resorts are located. The camp in general was good. I understand it was a desert tent but the bedding cleanliness could be very much improved. The bathroom was well maintained and clean. The food was average and the cleanliness in the kitchen could be improved as well. Also, explore your options of hiring your own jeep or camel. ”

“Swiss tent stay was good however bath area was a bit problematic...we paid 15 k per night almost and still the shower wasn't worst all..had to take bath in desi style using balti and mug. The tent provided had issues with curtains”

“Amazing stay at this property, fantastic service, clean rooms and good food which will be more like homemade food ( which we liked) and not like a restaurant style. Breakfast and dinner can be included in your stay which I recommend as this property is located a bit remote around 45 minutes from Jaisalmer. The campsite and resort are perfect but avoid booking activities from them as they are extremely pricey and won’t be able to meet their commitments for activity times. To give an idea, they……

“Arman name has changed to Libra and as a result we had a difficult time finding the location. The air conditioner in one tent did not work well while the other was noisy and too close to the bed. Bathrooms and dated and did no smell nice.”

“There was no hotel available in the location, I got cheated. Also it's impossible to reach out to Expedia, i would not recommend to book anything from Expedia ”

“There is no swimming pool inside that property. We have confirm booking and after that they denied during check in that they didn't get any confirmation from Expedia. Thanks to Expedia care service for helping us to checkin. The tenta aren't cleaned and they serve dinner only at 9 pm.”

“The front office staff indulges in Fraud and Racketeering for foreign tourists by trapping them into paying lots of money for safaris . The charges for local tourists is nominal . Also do not have any WIFI despite their website stating that it is available!! Very disappointed. ”
