Much needed vacation

The property was exactly what was pictured on the website and the view was absolutely beautiful! I would definitely return! I found myself waking up at the crack of dawn to look at that spectacular ocean view…. Just in awe of God’s creation.

My only complaint is that it is advertised as having a sleeper sofa and it did not have one. Management gave us an air mattress and said the sleeper sofa was on back order so hopefully that will be rectified soon. Other than that, everything was great. I would stay here again.

Annual vacation at the Islander May 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We initially had rented a different unit but due to unexpected issues had to be moved to a different one. The staff was very helpful and made sure to get us moved to another platinum room on the same floor with the same view (east). We ended up staying 2 extra nights. All of the staff on duty during our 9 day stay were very friendly and available to help when needed. The Islander is so convenient to everything and our unit was clean and well-stocked.

The only complaint is the cleanliness of the stairwells. The trash chute stairs need extensive cleaning and power washing. I personally would never stay close to that area. I also think the pavilion could use a large ceiling fan. My family enjoyed all the activities provided. See you again soon.

I have walking issues so we wanted close to the elevator. Unit 609 was perfect. The only complaint we have with the condo was the refrigerator. it made a high pitched sound the whole 2 weeks.Alan was great with the chairs and all of the attendees at the desk were always friendly and helpful especially Wayne . I'm afraid our secret is out. Very crowded the first week!
