"The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. It was warm, so we were able to sit outside for meals, reading and watching nature and the occasional boat passing on the canal. "We visited Chateau des Louteaux for my partners 40th as a group of 20 adults (mainly couples) and it was an amazing stay. To start the photos do not do the property justice, it's truly breathtaking! "A very enjoyable family holiday. Anita is lovely and very welcoming. Great villa with everything we needed and more. Kitchen was very well equipped. Games room was a huge hit with the children and the pool was very welcomed in the 36 degrees heat! Huge garden meant lots of outdoor games too. Quiet and peaceful location and supermarkets easy to drive to. Recommend a relaxing visit to the nearby Chateau d'Ainay-le-Vieil."
