“We arrived by boat which complicated getting family off the boat and into the house on a very windy day. Kids that came by air had luggage taken to the house so that worked very well. Took away a star on listing due to the washing machine being inoperative. Krystal was off the island but still very responsive to any messages. Would recommend the house for those wishing to visit Black Point.”

Ida and her so Terren are amazing and make the entire process extremely easy. We flew from Fort Lauderdale vía Makers Air which have a ton of flights into Staniel Cay. Once you arrive at Staniel Cay , Terren will be waiting for you practically on the tarmac and it’s a really short 10 min boat ride to black point . The house is extremely clean and accommodating. “Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. It’s definitely out of the way (unless you have your own boat or plane), but getting there is part of the adventure. Ida and her family, along with all the residents we met, were welcoming and open to sharing their quiet island home. Travel light (& with a light touch) and you will be well rewarded with some……

“We had an amazing time at Black Point staying in Seaweed Cottage. Ida was very responsive to my questions and arranged a golf cart rental and boat tour for us. She picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the island pointing out restaurants and markets, and stopped at a market before taking us to her cottage. The golf cart was waiting for us when we arrived which allowed us to explore the island as soon as we got settled in. The cottage is as described- Very clean, comfortable,……
