“Placed perfectly to activities in the Lexington area. This cute little cottage was the exact thing we needed after a day out at the Virginia Horse Center. The beds were comfortable and the ability to relax and unwind was easy. Our hostess was always quick to respond and getting in and out of the home was easy. I will remember this for next year's shows. Thanks.”

“Nice quiet area. Clean and had everything we needed.”

“This property is located at the top of the neighborhood right up against the forest. It’s a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The house itself is nicely laid out, very comfortable, and spotless. We have truly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!”

“Comfortable shower after hiking was great. Plus, having free toiletries was helpful.”

“The place is a dump and questionable people staying there possibly on drugs. My husband woke the next morning to a flat tire that had a obvious puncture room in the sidewall no security cameras on premises lost a day of work and had to buy a tire and was not offered a refund.”

“Clean very happy”

“Excellent place to stay on our motorcycle ride vacation. Great views from window upstairs. Lot of deer wandering around. Good restaurants in Lexington VA. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Beautiful cabin. There is a dirt dauber nest near the deck on another cabin but other than that it was nice. Wish there were more things. Kitchen wasn't amazingly stocked and grill brush is moldy. But it will do. 4 out of 5 stars.”

“This place is a great get away in the mountains. Definitely has everything you need for a break from life. A bit scary to get to the place through the mountain roads but if thats not a problem for you then I would recommend this place anytime. The lack of wifi and signal is nice to make you stop and enjoy whats around you. Feels like camping to get people to just enjoy the outdoors or whatever entertainment you bring with you. The place was nice and clean and full of everything you need for……

“Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though”

“Vwey Clean, pictures do not do it justice.it far exceeded our expectations”

“I have stayed here before, and it was exactly what I needed: a quiet place to decompress. Jerry, the owner, responds quickly to all communication. The place is really clean, and I love having coffee by the stream. I'd stay here again. If you want peace and quiet and love nature, this is the place for you.”

“A very nice clean comfortable well furnished house. Great value for the space on gets. Nothing fancy but everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Not much to do or see in the immediate vicinity but if travels take you to this part of the world it is a good choice. Host was very responsive when I needed to contact.”

“Very friendly and had great small little touches that made it an enjoyable experience. Appreciated them having a toaster and a nice refrigerator. The views are fantastic. Next time I hope to use the sauna.”

“Great communication from host. Property exactly as described. Nice peaceful setting.”

“Loved it.....beautiful. Cabin was clean and open and well furnished, just needed a can opener. Booked again for the fall.”

“The hosts, Janet and Brian were very friendly and had good recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see. The carriage house was very clean and cozy with terrific views. Jasper, the resident horse, seemed to like attention and petting. Would definitely stay there again.”
