"In general this hotel was good value for money and is in a good location. Can be noisy day and night and the pool entertainment is really annoying but there are quieter areas you can relax away from the main pool area. "

"Where do I start ? There are some good and bad things to mention about this property. Firstly, we were greeted by a lovely lady who may have been the owner. She was welcoming and nice throughout our stay. The pool was very clean and we were there most days to chill. On our first night we didn’t get to shower as the water was cold and just wouldn’t heat up. They were quick to try and sort and stated water is slow but does work. "Really enjoyed our stay at the Montebello. Check-in was easy despite having to wait as we arrived a few hours early. The room was on 9th floor and was perfect. The balcony had 2 sunbeds along with dining table and parasol. Shower was lovely although we did think it was only cold water until we realised you need to turn on the boiler in the kitchen area :-) heads up there to any future guests. The location is great too - easy to walk down either steps or slopes to main centre /marina. Taxi...

"Absolutely shocking apartment, no fans or air conditioning, no clean towels , even had to go out and buy toilet paper as it wasn’t replaced. Cleaners never made beds , I think all they did was to flick a mop around. Reception only open at odd hours , charged for safe , charged for Wi-Fi which was in and out all the time . Pool nice , but a real bad drain smell near sun beds . Apartment was really tired and grubby , the whole place is in dire need of a refurbishment, paint peeling every where...

"Used the bungalow as a base to tour the island on a motorbike. Friendly and professional staff. Proximity to the airport meant that a taxi costs less than €20, worth bearing in mind as taxis are expensive. The bungalow itself, curiously has both a front and rear door enabling a good flow of air and alternate places to sit during the day.
