"We enjoyed our stay at Fisherman Village. The hotel is located outside of the city. It is quiet and peaceful. Price is reasonable and it is fair easy to get to. Hot tub and sauna work great for us. Definitely recommend the hotel if you prefer staying outside Reykjavik. "

"We enjoyed our stay. This was our first time in Iceland and this was a great spot to use as the home base- a bit away from the crowds but walking distance to everything. We did two bus tours that picked us up across the street at bus stop 15 and walked around the city in the evenings. No car needed! The breakfast here was exceptional- get there early it does get a bit crowded- the fresh bread and pastries were very tasty and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff were readily available helped us whenever asked."
