"For the price this is a great hotel. I’ve read through some other reviews where people complain and the cleanliness and the breakfast? Like really? This is not a 5 star hotel. Its a good affordable hotel that is cleaner than a lot of hotels in the area and costs way less, the breakfast buffet is pretty much what I would refer to as a continental breakfast plus, not to mention that the staff are very friendly and efficient, the rooms are about one and a half the size of the average hotel rooms with plenty of space to unload your baggage and the overall area is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a hotel that has ample room and won’t bankrupt you. The indoor pool is also a plus along with the laundry room and gym. "

"This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel and despite the reviews about this place being dirty and what not, there’s a reason why we have stayed here whenever we are in town. Let me start by saying that the staff are very nice people who are also extremely responsive to their guests needs. We get better service here than we get in 4 star hotels. One of the reviews I read mentioned that they were not impressed right off the bat when they were checking in and they were handed the key and told to check out the room to make sure it was OK before they checked them in. I think that’s great. This is a practice that I think all hotels should follow. Then I’ll finish with this one. People complaining about it being dirty and run down fail to acknowledge that they literally staying at the cheapest hotel in the area. If you’re expecting the place to be immaculate then you also expect to pay four times the price. A ratio of cost versus cleanliness you are definitely getting your moneys worth. Personally, I would definitely recommend this place if you’re not some snobby pretentious person. Like to find out that it’s in close proximity to many strip clubs that you can Uber back-and-forth to for about $10 per trip. Next time I pass through St. Louis, I will be most definitely staying there again.
