"Our ferry was postponed due to weather so we had an unexpected night in Santander. What a silver lining this turned out to be! Hotel Chiqui’s location is spot on, improved only by the excellent service we received from the very helpful staff - a huge shout out to Jeimy and Cristina in particular who were both lovely. All of the hotel’s rooms face the sea - we had booked a basic room, but were upgraded to one with a balcony. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, everything you need for a good stay. The breakfast, at 15€, was amazing. There was plenty of choice and it was good quality. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Santander. "

"The 3 bedroom apartment was tastefully decorated, clean and in a quiet, peaceful- neighborhood. . The check in and out was in the close by Hotel. Parking garage is under the building. Stores are walking distance. "

"A little hard to find. Google maps was not accurate. A nice lady showed us the way. The hotel is lovely and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Staff do not speak English. No one at front desk, but was able to text using Whatsapp and was not a problem. Downloaded their self check in. Nice getaway from the larger centers. Booked another night!"

"Very characterful property with parking right outside the building. Lovely breakfast and the homemade lemonade was very refreshing. There was no one on reception when we arrived which isn't a problem, but it would have been more useful if there were names against the keys rather than having to phone to get our room number."
