“I want to give them a 10 out of 10 but the neighbors were so noisy! The neighbors stayed up partying until around midnight Saturday and Sunday. They were outside with loud music and screaming at each other. The house is the cutest place! The hosts were magnificent- we didn’t have hot water and it was fixed within the hour. I’d recommend it but just be aware if it’s a holiday weekend - the neighbors are very loud. ”

“Very clean; plenty of outdoor space; mattresses firm and kitchen fully loaded. The only down fall was there was no notice about the windy room up the hill to get to the property. ”

“Angler's Retreat is a perfect place for fishing Clarks Hill or Russell. Very convenient to both lakes. The home is well equipped and has plenty of parking for your boat. “The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay.
