"Villa Ad Astra is set in beautiful gardens overlooking the beach and is the perfect place to relax and be well cared for by Nilanga the site manager who was also our careful driver and Deepika and her team who cooked the most wonderful meals, so much so we didn’t want to go out and try the local restaurants.We would highly recommend a stay here."

"We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala. This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible. They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation. Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. "

"Clean room with a new big bathroom. The pool was big and the garden is very nice. I don’t know why some reviewers write that its dirty, wasn’t our experience at all. Maybe other rooms are different but ours was very clean and excellent value for the Price."

"Lovely house and grounds. The pool was beautiful and well tended by the dedicated gardner. Tara Gardens is such a special place. The staff looked after our every need. Will definitely book again!"

"We have stayed in the willa unfortunately only 1 week....what a shame! We traveled as 2+3 children and everything was just great, location, villa itself, our guide Rex and great cook Pushpa. "Really nice property on fantastic beach. Helpful staff. The only think to be aware of is that the Villa is on a main road, and very close to the railway line which is very noisy throughout the night and did rather spoil our stay. Also on 3 of the days we stayed there we wedding events or birthday parties going on very close which totally spoilt the tranquillity of the place."

"A bit late but we had a great stay. Highlight was Kumara the yoga teacher who adjusted the level as i was the only one that turned up. Guys around the resturant pool were good. And the office lady who helped me off site when she was walking hone and i had an issue."

"My family ( 2 Adults , 1 infant , 1 kid ) loved the 5 night / 6 day stay at Taj Bentota for many reasons : - Quality of service was excellent . Sam , Nuwan , Ravindra at the Palms restaurant made sure we felt at home. Room Boy Gagan treated the kids with his artistic work every time he cleaned the room. - Exceptional food at the Palms restaurant. Chefs Paramesh and Dalip Singh prepared great Indian vegetarian food for us. They took extra efforts to make sure baby food for my infant was absolutely home like, every single day! Sri Lankan food suggested by Chef Dalip was top notch . - Fun activities kept us engaged . Aqua aerobics coach Janaka made sure we lost some calories gained at the Palms . Face painting & other kids activities kept them happy . - Clean water at the pool & easy beach access . - The tease bar had live music during the evenings while we sipped our drinks to pleasure. This place comes highly recommended from my family ! Happy vacationing ! "

Gorgeous Property!

"What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in an exquisite villa with the beach at right outside our doors. The enjoy the sunsets from our bed was truly spectacular. A lovely and welcoming staff who catered to our every need. The food was good - but I prefer the menu at their sister property, Kayaam House. But Ahu Bay has THE BEST coconut toffee! Thank you to wonderful staff who were so kind and helpful, especially Nilanga and Kasum."
