「Our stay at the Great Escape Lodge was fantastic! The house is a magnificent historical structure. All rooms were ready and perfect for our arrival (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc...all perfect). We grilled and shared stories and good laughs on the back deck. The living room was perfect for all of us to catch up after a day of activities and share our adventures. 「Everything was seamless from check in to check out. The owners are wonderful, even calling me a couple days before to let me know about an HVAC issue and our options surrounding that. The cabin was very clean and updated and had everything we needed and more. All of the furniture was comfortable and well maintained. Our favorite thing to do during our stay was sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view and watch the thunderstorms. We will definitely be returning 」

「The room was very cute. It was very clean. Very welcoming. However, the bed needs rotate or replaced. You roll to the middle, its lumpy and not comfortable. The property has horrible lighting it is dark. The property has horrible signage. We had to get out of our car to figure out building numbers. Unless they individual owners had light up or reflective signage you could not tell the building and room numbers. 「The Ivey's probably get tired of guests gushing about their place, but count me as a gusher! The outdoor patio area is every bit as beautiful as the pictures indicate. We indulged ourselves with the hottub, corn hole, the outdoor grill, the firepit, darts as well as the pool table. Never a dull moment. 「If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great」

「The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. We drove from 3 states with 5 cars, and it was no problem parking them. Entry to the property was easy and Kelly’s directions to the house were great.
