「As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train.」

「The cottage was beautiful and clean with easy access to the river. This is the perfect getaway spot for a couple that enjoys the outdoors. John was easy to communicate with and worked us into his schedule for a last mintue guided fishing trip. 」

Space was clean and comfortable. We loved the theater room and all the deer that visit in the backyard. The road to house was the only thing that was a little tricky!」

「Great spot on River. Nice hole in front of house for swimming and fishing. Caught several small mouth bass. Very private, really enjoyed seating on porch and around fire pit listening to river. Seen bald eagle on our last morning. Would for sure go there again. Host was great, communication was great and had no problems during our stay. 」
