“We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. The farm animals were entertaining. I would definitely book this cottage again. Thank you.”

“I loved this place! I will stay there again!”

“The property was immaculate, gorgeous, and my kids had a lot of fun kayaking and fishing in the pond. We saw blue herons, deer and fish during our brief stay.”

“Great place, wonderful host, nice neighborhood. Very happy. This is a regular stay for me. Highly recommended!”

“Close to downtown access to good restaurants and the Ohio river nearbyMurals and flood wall are close by which are very popular attractions”

“Very clean home, hot tub was the cleanest one we have ever encountered, host was very informative, prompt, and easily reachable. The little touches (s'mores basket and toiletry basket in master bath) were a super sweet gesture. Plenty of blankets and towels. AC was great. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. This was perfect for my husband and I to get away and unplug from adulting. We plan to stay again on the future!”

“Temperature control in each room”

“We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating to anything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.”

“Traveling with spouse and an in-law, I was highly pleased from the time we opened the front door ! A tastefully decorated house with more features than anticipated. We will definitely book our next stay with Lisa, when we are back in Portsmouth, Ohio”

“We needed somewhere where we could bring our dog and really appreciated that it was dog friendly, that’s what originally brought us to this listing. But as we read about the cabin and the natural surroundings, it couldn’t be more perfect! They are thoughtful with the items they stock for visitors. Very comfortable!”

“Nice peaceful place to stay. Could use a little TLC but not bad.”

“This is such an amazing property. Secluded, quiet, peaceful. We absolutely loved staying here!”

“The host never provided a key and then ghosted me. They responded to my first message by repeating where the key "should be". I told them the key was not where it should be or anywhere else... the host ignored my messages for help after that. Since it was unlocked and there were no other available stays in the area, I stayed but had to take my belongings with me every time I left since the cabin could not be secured.I suspect there was no one actually on site to care for anything even though the……

“Nice place, exceptionally nice and professional host and will definitely be reserving this place again real soon!”

“My wife and I traveled 600 miles to spend my birthday watching the summer solstice at Serpent Mound however we never saw the sunset over the mound, as we spent most of our time looking for other accommodations. There is a significant disconnect between the advert and reality. We were prepared for a shared shower, but not a full shared bathroom (toilet/sink) situation—the bathroom facilities looked like a truck stop gas station shower stall. The main advert also understated the drive time to……

“Great cabin”

“Our stay was incredible! The cabin was welcoming, with many additional amenities that we weren’t expecting; including the toiletries, snacks, and bottled water. Highly recommend this property and host!”
