"We were looking for basic hotel while doing two days of chartered fishing. We were disappointed coffer was not on/ available to make. Staff indicated the coffer is not brewed until 7 am and we had to leave by 6 am. We were here as the holiday weekend kicked off so the coffee place across the street wasn't open before 6 either."

"The property was exactly as described. The view from the living room was awesome. It was really nice having the carport to park under as it rained every day we were there. The area the apartment is in is nice and quiet and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Sitka."

"Quiet beautiful location. Plenty of room. All essentials present. Hosts helpful by text. Ocean view nice. Shops in town about 2 ½ miles away, a car is needed. Highly recommend this property. Will come again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the lodge to have a middle school graduation party and it exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, the views are amazing, and there is plenty of space and beds for everybody. We got plenty of use out of the clean and well maintained hot tub, sauna, and outdoor grill. The owner is so nice and responsive. You won’t regret staying at the Golden Alaska Lodge. I was sad to leave."

"This is a family owned Inn, and, you are truly treated like family. If I'm ever in Sitka and it's still owned by Vicki and staffed with Laila and Kyle, I'm staying here again! Laila is one of the most observant and kind and patient people I've ever come across! Miss Vicky the owner needs to write a book, but, she's too busy! Property is super clean, including rooms and beds are super comfortable with super soft sheets! There are things available to snack on, juices, coffee and ice! I personally liked it wasn't in town, but, a nice short walk (1.5-miles), including walkable to the Totem Park and Raptor Center! There is a restaurant in the plaza which had good food too! "
Southeast Resort

"The hotel may have rebranded to the Southeast Resort, but it is an old hotel. The refrigerator shell was broken. The room just looked tired. The elevator was extremely slow. The bathtub wasn't really clean and there was someone else's long hair clinging to the shower curtain, yuck. On the positive side the bed was quite comfortable, and the hotel location is right by downtown and close to tourist areas."
