"Loved the kids pool and the kids club. The kids had fun playing there all day. The hotel is right at the beach which was very convenient. The staff were amazing and provided excellent service. I felt I received a 5 star service at the hotel. Sadly, the restaurant did not taste good. We ordered a simple pad thai dish and thai milk tea - simple dishes that should be easy for any thai restaurant. But the pad thai tasted very bad and the thai milk tea was not good at all. Also the restaurant needs to do something about the bugs. We had flies flying around us and mosquitoes around our food. It was quite disgusting to see 3 bugs stop on top of our pad thai before we had to swat them away. We had such a bad experience at the restaurant we took a taxi to a neighboring shopping center for the rest of the meals. "

The location is quite convenient, about a 30‑minute drive from Phuket International Airport. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, and the sea view from the room is wonderful — perfect for a quiet getaway.
Breakfast was decent, though the variety was somewhat limited. When checking in, the hotel required a cash deposit and wouldn’t accept a credit card at first, which was inconvenient. After I explained I didn’t have enough cash, they finally allowed a credit‑card deposit instead.
Room service is available if you prefer to stay in, but the menu options are quite limited. The restaurant food is actually better. One time when I ordered room service, the staff asked me to pay in cash, but I told them to charge it to my room — it seems the hotel prefers cash in general, which was a bit confusing.
The hotel has its own private beach, reachable by a shuttle that takes about five minutes down the hill. You can simply tell the front desk when you’d like to go. The beach is quiet and clean — a nice spot to relax.
Overall, this hotel is a great place if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. While some procedures (like the deposit and payment method) could be improved, the setting and atmosphere make it a pleasant place to stay. "

"Overall we’re pretty satisfied with our stay, room is clean and spacious, thanks for the upgrade btw 🙏. We had dinner in the ISLA restaurant, food is amazing!! Swimming pool is not crowd, very kids friendly, and it’s so close to the beach which is another reason we want to stay here.
I noticed that Aroma is a pretty new hotel, so here are some suggestions for your improvement according to my personal experience:
1. The air conditioning is not responsive, room is so humid and hot when we checked in, after calling the front desk, the lady said it takes 10 mins for it to work. Well, I’m not sure it’s the settings of the Mitsubishi air-con, if so, would be nice if you can have your staff to switch on the air-con before your guest check-in the room.
2. The “Make up room” and “DND” buttons are very confusing, it’s hard to distinguish it’s on / off, you don’t expect your guests have to learn and guess is it on or not, I’d rather prefer the traditional way to put the sign on the handle instead, 100% of people should know what to do. After not having someone to clean up for 2 days, I have to call front desk again and I was being questioned did I turn the make up room light on, well, it makes me feel like I’m being blamed, not good service at all…
3. Have your engineer to check the TV remote battery regularly, it’s not really a good experience I have to call the 3rd time to the front desk to ask for battery replacement, and I have to call again after no one show up in 10 mins…"
