“My sister and I stayed here over the weekend for a Finger Lakes hiking trip, and it was fantastic! Coming from near Philly, the star-filled night sky was breathtaking. Meeting the hosts’ three sweet dogs while stargazing made it even better! The space was adorable, clean, and easy to find. “Description: The unit is not a 'house'. It's an renovated building behind a house. Safety/Security: The stairs are an accident waiting to happen. Top tread is almost split through along the length and was repaired/remounted on an angle. Bottom tread is so far under the top that you have to step sideways to be stable. No handrails. No exterior lighting except for one small solar light by the stairs which doesn't stay charged. Parking: Ad says you can park on the street (a hill) or in the……

“Oh, wow! This was perfect for our group of 8 adults: a combination of botanist work trip and Girl Scout reunion. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and well supplied. Lots of privacy in a very convenient location. Would I book Sugar Cube again?? I already have for a family trip! You won't regret your stay here.”

“This is a little slice of heaven. Owned by a kind and lively woman who turned a kids camp into a great rustic spot to chill. Good vibes all around, very accomodating. Offers everything you want with your stay, so call or email ahead. Check out her website before booking for extra info.”

“Very nice, clean and comfortable "pod" with lantern and night table. Private and very quiet. We really appreciated the shower facility. Conveniently close to Ithaca/Cornell U. Ethay was super responsive and helpful when we approached from a road we were unfamiliar with.”

“Having access to an in-room coffee maker brightened up mornings significantly!”

“Very convenient to Cornell. Parking is free. Check in and out are hassel free. Apartment is very clean. Host was very helpful and provided all information and instructions clearly.”

“We had so much fun staying in Meadow Vole. It was the perfect spot for my 8 year-old and me to stay while visiting friends in Ithaca. We loved the setting, the convenience of the cabin, and my daughter was especially taken with Eshay's Red Eft Cafe in the pavilion and the pancake breakfast. We hope to return next year!”

“Perfectly appointed. Owners thought of every little thing and found a good spot for it. Clean and comfortable I've already booked a return trip!”
