“Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.”

“This place was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, well kept, and a great value for what you got. Beautiful property, sweet farm pets stopped by to say hello which was adorable. “It’s hard to find such a beautiful place surrounded by water, with easy access to swimming and kayaking. We loved walking right out and having a personal beach with an amazing view all the way to Ithaca. The home is clean, comfortable, and really set up with entertaining in mind. I appreciate the little things like having sharp knives in the kitchen, a heated drying rack in the bathroom, and lots of games in the closets. The bird watching is also incredible. “Todd the owner is super nice and helpful to find nearby attractions. We checked in little early as well checked our early. Had a nice time relax and it was a kind of get away from the crowded and bustling city life.”

“This property is in a perfect location. The house was clean and had all the stuff you could need to enjoy your stay. Silverware, cups, plates towels, blankets, bedding ect. Just beware the low ceilings down stairs, they got my husband a few times. The lake and docks are stunning. The hot tub was very clean. All around a great stay.”

“We had a great time at this property. Less than 10 minutes to Watkins Glen and the Gorge Trail. Multiple wineries with 10 minutes. Also a bunch of markers markets and local farm stores within 20 minutes. We really enjoyed exploring the area and then winding down on the back porch at night after a day out. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to explore the Watkins Glen or Seneca Lake Wine Trail.”

The blanket is very smelly

"The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn."
