「- the entrance atmosphere felt a bit cold as the half of the common area including the lobby was under renovation
- they called us multiple times late evening and early morning to confirm safari details e.g. time or dietary requirements for the lunchbox.. all of this could have been done upon checkin (which we asked) instead of their convenience of time
- email responses weren’t particularly helpful so we had to repeat or chase for a few times
- upon checkin, they informed that the breakfast...

「The lodge is amazing and we got to see elephants during the day and night next to our room. They quoted us a ridiculous amount for transport from/to Vic Falls so we had to make our own way there for a third of the price. 「The staff was so friendly and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our anniversary was incredible. The owners even can and had dinner with us the night we arrived. Ngasha was an incredible hostess/bartender, chef Kevin was amazing in the presentation and quality and taste of food, Fortune our guide was incredible and very intelligent and resourceful. Victor was excellent too. 」

「The property is in serious disrepair! The veranda had a hole in it they just covered with a chair. The toilet had fesces in it. The pool was green with algae. The didn’t tell us there was no power and were running on a generator that the turned off in the night with no warning leaving us in the dark completely. (Not even a flash light). We had a 6 am game drive, and didn’t turn the generator till 10 minutes to 6. Tree had fallen across the pathway. I feel bad for the staff, for they are the ones...
