The showerhead was improperly installed so it leaks and does not work properly. The outlet by the sink does not work. Tried to reset it by utilizing the GFCI reset bottoms but that did not work. Someone needs to look at it. The wallpaper in the far-left corner of the room is piling up and rippling. Looks like possible water damage.

There was no heat in the room because the thermostat did not work. The refrigerator was broken and had a foul odor. Management never took my call to rectify the issue

As we sat visiting with friends in the lounge area, two staff members got into a yelling fight, swearing at one another. It was very unprofessional. Also, the internet did not work, it would connect but show there were no open networks.

This hotel needs to imply new policies for guests who think it's okay to be extremely noisy the entire night. I couldn't sleep at all with the constant noise coming from the third floor above my room. It sounded so loud and even after calling the front desk and complaining of the noise, nothing was done. The tv in my room never worked at all. The cable box was unplugged and reset and the tv still said "no signal". The front desk was no help for either of these issues. Also, the next morning while taking a shower, the fire alarm went off and it was super inconvenient to have to rush to finish my shower for no reason. The elevator definitely needs to be updated because it seems like it's on its last leg and will break down at any given moment. For the price of the rooms, you would think you would be getting something worth your money. This hotel definitely needs to work on several areas before they charge the price they do. Terrible visit and even after letting the staff know of these issues I encountered, nothing was done to rectify the situation.

Housekeeping missed our room first night, had to go to the desk to get clean towels. Bathroom per 1980, exhaust fan loudest I ever heard, was not a typical Marriott, not a pleasant stay.

The room was filthy. Used bar of soap on the shower. Pillow cases inside. That tells me they didn’t change. They just flipped them. Conditioner bootle didn’t even give a dime size. Which tells me they didn’t replace. One bar of soap ? Shower yes. . Never again !

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Marriott this dirty in my life. I’m surprised management hasn’t done anything. The rooms and carpets weren’t even vacuumed (there was hair still on the floor from whoever was there prior), AC unit was FILLED with dust and dirt so I couldn’t even turn it on, the window screen has massive holes in it so I couldn’t open up the window unless I wanted to get eaten by bugs, the room was never made even if asked, when asked for extra towels they were put on the FLOOR in the hallway by the door (honestly this was beyond surprising), I could go on. The service was dismissive and strange to be honest, no hospitality what so ever. I have a family member who lives near by and next time we visit them we will never ever stay here again. I suggest you don’t either.

Looked like a nice room, except...
I first found a long black hair on the sink, but I'm pretty forgiving about this stuff. It happens. Then I found another long black hair on the nightstand. At this point I'm not thrilled. Definitely not my own hair as I have short, lighter hair. Then I stepped in a PUDDLE on the carpet at the end of one of the beds. At first I couldn't believe it, so I checked the spot again thinking it couldn't possibly be an unknown liquid...and now my foot is soaked. The rest of the floor was filthy. I didn't get into my room til 1am and just wanted to unwind from a long day, and I'm not the type of person who "demands" or even requests a new room over this type of stuff...so as gross as it was, I let it go, but couldn't wait to leave. When I did leave in the morning, I found ANOTHER long black hair caked to my shorts. Breakfast wasn't complimentary. WiFi was super spotty. I can easily let one or two of these things go, especially if this were a budget hotel, but wow...so many disappointing and gross things really racked up for such a short stay.
