Host was very kind, check in process went by very smoothly very clear instructions, great communication Host was even kind enough to send a list of night events going on downtown that night, can see the river walk from outside of the apartment, great aesthetic will definitely book again!

My overall impression of the River View Loft was satisfaction. The room and its property were just as described through the listing and its/ there reviews. Music from a club/ bar can be heard into the night, the walls in between units aren’t the most sound cancelling, this specific unit is located on the third floor.. during our stay, the elevator was broken so there were some steps involved. Again, all these things have been listed in previous reviews and I personally had no issues with any of the stated as I knew what I was signing up for. I feel the price was perfect for all things involved as well. I will be looking into these units again if I’m ever back in Detroit.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is a SCAM. DO NOT BOOK with this host, here or on the competitors' site. This host, Econolofts, said we would get instructions for how to get into our room the day of. He started off super responsive and great and then he stopped responding and never sent the instructions. Once we arrived I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. When we got out of the car a drunk man approached us talking nonsense and come to find out HE WAS THE HOST. He kept saying he'd "check with the cleaning person" and text us when our room is ready which of course he never did. He wouldn't leave us alone, kept talking to us and following us around. It was the craziest most unprofessional experience I've ever been a part of. Do not book any units in this building. He said he has 8 units.
