Free parking, room was not clean I requested a change but the next room wasn’t clean either. Hair in the sheets and in the pillow. Building looks a bit old. Water in the shower would not shut off. I hate to complain but I was really looking forward to the stay and it did not meet the expectations of what I saw in the pictures.

I’d give this place 2 stars. It’s barely a step above ghetto and feels like an overpriced motel dropped into a middle‑class neighborhood. I had to switch rooms three times: the first had a “hot” shower that was basically heated pool water, the second had water running nonstop and wouldn’t shut off, and the third had a dead phone. The hallways constantly smelled like marijuana, and the smoke drifting in gave me a contact high more than once. The rooms were minimally cleaned, the lighting was dingy, and the door felt as thin as paper. You can literally see the grime embedded in the hallway carpet. Don’t let the lobby fool you. The coffee tastes like dirt water, and the breakfast is extremely basic—cereal, a waffle maker, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, and a few random items. Staff presence was minimal, and I didn’t see any security or cameras anywhere inside or outside, which didn’t feel great. I will say it was quiet, but that’s about the only positive. This place desperately needs an update. Definitely not what I expected for Troy.

I had spiders and ants in my room. What the heck? There were hole in the bathroom wall. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open. They did not come and service my room from Mon tell I departed on Friday. I sent a video to the hotel of the terrible conditions no one responded.

The staff were greet and welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spotless. The hotel lobby was very clean and it was one of the best smelling hotels I’ve ever been at. I would recommend to friends.

The hotel is of extremely poor quality. The rating and reviews are completely misleading. To start with, the balcony door had a large hole that the management tried to fix with nothing but duct tape—which wasn't even sticking. Freezing air was blowing directly into the room, and I could hear all the traffic noise from outside. The floor was filthy; it hadn't even been swept after the previous guests. All the furniture was covered in stains from spilled drinks. There was hair on the bed and in the shower, and the toilet was dirty. During breakfast, the tables in the restaurant were simply disgusting.
