We had a nice stay. Only things worth mentioning were the outlets in the bathroom area didn't work and the thermostat was low on battery. Everything else was just fine for our stay.

Trumbull and Porter is a great boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The lobby, bar and outdoor spaces are all thought fully designed and fun spots to hang out. The room itself was relatively basic but clean and quiet. Secured parking. Only a short walk to the riverfront and Ralph C. Wilson Park. Got drinks at Batch Brewing right across the street and breakfast at Folk just a block away, both fantastic spots I highly recommend to anyone staying at Trumbull and Porter.

We chose this hotel because there was not anything near the Fox Theatre that was under $400 and there was free parking here. The staff was very friendly & bed/ pillows comfortable, although for the price all we got was a Queen bed, very small. It is very basic, NO amenities not even a bottle of water after a 2-hour drive here, no carpet on floor so hard floor was very cold. Room was tiny, no comfy chairs to relax, only the hard desk chair, night tables were small metal and unsteady. No closet for luggage, only a rack to hang your coats. Bathtub & toilet room were separate which was nice, but tight space. Shower head was great, except the tub/shower only had a half glass door, which meant part of the tub area was open and the floor got soaked. This hotel badly needs a renovation. It’s old & tired. At least put a sliding glass door that covers the whole tub so the floor doesn’t get soaked! It is in a very quiet area. Don’t know if we will stay here again. We come often, from Canada, to Piston’s games and the theatre. Hopefully prices at our usual hotels we go to will come down.

This little hotel just a short bit away from all the chaos is one of our favorites. Clean rooms, comfy beds, lovely courtyard and bar area. The games placed around the bar for guests to play are a fun little touch. Always a friendly staff.

Everything was great. In particular, I want to highlight the staff. I ran into a problem with my phone charger, and one staff member went far out of her way to help me, saving me a lot of trouble. I’ll always be grateful for that extra kindness and am glad I chose Trumbull and Porter.

I recently stayed at the Trumbull and Porter Hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself was okay—nothing special, but not terrible either. It was generally clean, though the concrete floors with area rugs weren’t ideal. The rugs in our room were noticeably stained. The biggest issue, unfortunately, was safety. While the parking lot is gated, it is not truly secure. Our car, along with several others, was broken into overnight. This was extremely upsetting and stressful. The staff were empathetic and kind when we reported the incident, but not particularly helpful in terms of solutions. The hotel didn’t have any proper materials to temporarily cover our broken window so we could safely drive elsewhere for repairs. We were given just a trash bag and some tape, which wasn’t sufficient given the situation. Overall, the stay was disappointing due to the lack of security and limited support after the incident. I would be cautious about staying here, especially if you’re relying on parking your vehicle on-site.

Water and condensation under mini fridge, water stains on shelving, condensation and hard water stains on the only window in room that blocked view, gap under door which made me feel unsafe, loud room next door, weird layout of hall with had hallways off to 2 rooms with doors right next to each other, reminded me of an old apartment building, front desk staff was friendly, other staff were not welcoming, luggage cart was too small and oddly shaped, everything was artsy artisan which was a cool theme and vibe, jetted tub was clean and not residue when I cleaned it with a cleaning tab, shower drain was slow

The hotel was nice, the beds were comfortable. No USB ports in room for charging. The computer is in the business centre did not work. More importantly, there were four vehicles broken into overnight that were parked in the secured area so do yourself a favour and park in front of the main entrance.
