「These apartments are brilliant if you are travelling with children, as we were. Lovely and spacious, with a dishwasher and coffee (ground) machine. Great oven and microwave, fridge freezer working well. Kitchen prep area was a good size, too. Bathroom was very clean and well finished, although the mirror wasn't lit. We couldn't get the living room TV to work, but we didn't contact the host, so this is not a complaint as I'm sure it would've been sorted. The TV in the bedroom was fine but we were...

「We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.」

「Smelt strongly of damp on entering communal corridor. Flat seemed ok but lots of road noise due to front window not sealing when closed. Was better when i went outside and pushed it closer. Swivel chair bases rusted badly. Sweeping brush was digusting and covered in muck and fluff before we used it. Bathroom radiator rusty, squeegies were covered in black mold. Extractor fan not working. Wardrobe had little space as full of boxes ironing board and clutter. 」
