"Before we arrived, the property managers were extremely quick to respond to inquiries. Perfect size for two, well equipped but no frills. Location is close to West End, diving shops and water taxis to West Bay. Not far from airport or shopping. Quiet area!! Could have been a couple more towels in the unit. You must understand the humidity causes mold to form easily on surfaces. Due to AC not being used while unit is not occupied, the shower had some mold in it."

"Staff were amazing! Literally everyone was hospitable. The two sisters in the kitchen gave me auntie feels, it was so nice, they cared. The property is beautiful, it’s like an oasis. If you want some seclusion, not a lot of tourists and peace, this is the place for you! I woke up in paradise daily while staying here. The owners (Talia and the gent) were great and on the property daily. There is a food stand at the top of the hill (hammock in front yard and mango trees) her red snapper was fantastic, and a small store across the street for, beer, water, juice and some fruit. 10/10 for my whole experience"

"I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my stay at Roatán Media Luna Resort affiliated by Meliá between 18th and 21st of March 2026, in the room # 108. The bathroom floor in my room was in very poor condition, as evidenced in the photographs previously provided. The deterioration of the flooring not only affected the aesthetics of the room but also raised concerns regarding safety and proper maintenance standards expected from a property affiliated with the Meliá brand. This situation significantly impacted on the comfort and quality of my stay. I trust that Meliá upholds high standards across its affiliated properties, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Considering the condition of the room and the impact on my stay, I believe a compensation equivalent to 30–40% of the total amount paid would be reasonable.
