St. John's Dickenson Bay Beach Hotels

"My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here, and we had a wonderful time! From our beautiful Presidential Suite to our amazing butlers, Rowan and Nickesha who went above and beyond for us everything was fantastic. The food was good, the pool area was fun, and the bar service at the Diamond Club pool was excellent — Ashley was phenomenal! The bar service at the party pool bar, however, was very slow and lacked personality, even though we were tipping $3–$5 per round. We would give this hotel 5 stars, but the nightly entertainment could be boring at times. They need more upbeat music from the Dj after the shows."

"This property is absolutely beautiful! The people manning the office are nice. The security is nice & helpful as we had a little trouble with the key to open the door. The gardens in this place are exceptional! The place is secure & location is the very best on the island...on Dickenson Bay. The sand is awesome, the beach in front of the condos is shallow & does not have tons of waves. The shopping isn't far away at all but you will need to drive or get a taxi. They have a grocery on the property. We didn't know about it originally. That information would have been helpful. We drove to the grocery store about 1.1 miles away. The website says the kitchens are fully furnished but that was not the case in the condo in which we stayed. The kitchen was very poorly stocked with cooking essentials."

"Fantastic property. Beautiful beach and always a friendly staff member to set up a beach chair and umbrella for you... Not many restaurants around and the ones that are seemed pricey. We went to th grocery store and made great ise of th in room kitchens and bbq under the gazebo... Great fun. "

"Family Christmas Five of us Father and Antiguan now live around 70 years in England returning for a family Christmas.1 wife, 1 daughter plus husband and 19 years old daughter/granddaughter.The villa was just as we hoped and dreamed.Amazing views over Dickenson Bay, a short downhill walk.Evening view over St Johns the cruise liners leaving the harbour with all lights blazing.3 very spacious and comfortable bedrooms with 3 bathrooms.A very efficient washing machine, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave plus oven if required.Dining table inside but outside on the decking the one most often used, beside the pool with those amazing views.Perfect place to enjoy a lazy breakfast.Parking space next to Villa.4 Sunbeds, plenty of towels. A beautiful well maintained garden around the pool. Everything spotlessly clean.The lovely knowledgeable Simonetta was amazing, very helpful; and nothing was too much trouble. Greets you at the villa.The most happy memorable Christmas. Just as we planned.We all would love to return one day......soon."

"Best Staff"

"Stayed for 11 nights in early April. Unit is on the top floor with a partial pool view. It was private and close to main office good for restocking ice (free) and change of beach towels. The office has a small supply of beer and soft drinks/snacks which can be charged to your room. The Beach is lovely although couple of spots where the chairs are there were some ants, this was annoying but we avoided that area. Some seaweed the first couple of days due to an earlier storm but the beach area was kept very clean every day after this.We walked to another beach very close to the left(as you look toward the sea) and this was quiet with a beautiful restaurant called Casa Roots. They had loungers you could use if you purchased from the beach bar. Their Mojito's were spectacular, one evening we ate there, very impressed. Have the creme brule it's the best I have ever tasted and this is my favorite dessert. We also walked up the hill about a 10-12 min walk to Bella Vita we ate dinner here twice. We also ordered pizza for later meals. A taxi ride to anywhere close costs 10 US. We walked 25 min to the large groc. and cabbed back for 15 US. The pool was warm and clean. The unit is lacking in kitchen supplies with very basic items provided. Bring bug repellent/citronella they are very active in the am and after 4pm. The bed was comfy, wish screens were on windows and patio door as we had to keep them closed. Overall lovely stay for the price point. AC works great."
