Fantastic stay for spring break!

We had a wonderful time at this rental! The beds were very comfortable, and the space was exactly what we needed for a great spring break. The game room setup in the barn was a huge hit—we used it a ton! The pool was also a great addition, giving us plenty of ways to relax and have fun. The location was perfect—tucked away in a quieter area that didn’t feel overly touristy, yet still just a short drive to bigger towns and plenty of activities for the whole family. We’d definitely stay here again!

my friends and i really liked this place, it was the perfect size for us to feel close but not cramped at all. The game room and pool are cool. I want to stay here next time we visit, hosts were super nice too

Stay in San Leon – Perfect for Relaxation

I loved this place! Having a private pool for vacation was such a relaxing feature. The home was clean and bug free, thank goodness. The host answered super quick which was nice and being like 4 or 5 minutes to the beach was easier

we really liked staying here and glad we got this place for our trip. This was so much better than a hotel with kids. We played in the pool and enjoyed the game room. it was clean and looked like the pics. thanks!

The place has a bit of everything for a family and friends stay. The only thing that would have made it better is if most of the arcades worked, and if the restroom in the back house had AC

Family reunion at the beach

The game room and bedrooms were perfect for kids of all ages. We put 4 kids 10 and under in one room off the game room. We put 4 kids over 13 together in the house. The adults took the other rooms. The dog had some space too. We ate at the pool. The different age groups could watch TV in different spaces, also a positive!

Poolside perfection!

Loved this place so much! The full sized private pool was awesome to lounge around during the day with my family. My kids really loved the second area that was converted into little sleeping rooms. The arcade machines were a big hit with them! We'd love to come back!

Family fun mini get away

Our family had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in San Leon! The house was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The game room was a huge hit with my kids—it kept them entertained for hours—and they absolutely loved the bunk beds. I also appreciated having a washer and dryer on-site; it made keeping up with laundry so convenient. With three bathrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone to get ready without feeling cramped. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to come back!

Hidden Gem in San Leon

This vacation rental in San Leon was absolutely perfect for our getaway! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. The pool was a highlight—perfect for cooling off during the day and creating memories with the family. The game room was a hit with both kids and adults, offering hours of entertainment. In the evenings, we gathered around the fire pit, enjoying s'mores. The location was ideal—peaceful and private, but close enough to enjoy the local seafood spots and nearby attractions like Kemah and Galveston. The host went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time in San Leon. The house was accommodating and the outdoor space and game room created a perfect place for all to enjoy the outdoors. We were first concerned about parking, but there was plenty of room. The only surprise was the two outside restrooms with no AC. Overall an amazing property that accommodates 18 people very well. We will definitely consider this property again.

Communications and functioning appliances

Place was nice. Wash machine did not work well at all. TV remote was a hit and miss issue. Contacted management several times about wash machine and no one ever showed up to follow through. Its a shame there isn't 2 bathrooms in main unit. We never used pool or shed unit due to terrible weather, but was really nice addition to facility.

Beach Box House

My grandkids loved the place. Their ages range from 21 to 7. The way I read the description all five bedrooms and baths are in the house. There’s only two bedrooms and one bathroom in the house. The other three bedrooms are in the game room along with two bathrooms. So every meal or snack the ones who slept down stairs had to climb the stairs. Most of the games in the game room didn’t work, however the pool is big and well maintained. There’s plenty of parking which is better than most rentals. There were some maintenance issue which were addressed and were answered very quickly.

Great place to stay and have fun with a party of people

Great location and amenities. Most rooms are bunked up, so its good for small families and groups of friends, like my groomsmen. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and the game room was fun! Local dining is great! Check out The Backyard or Gihoolies down the street. Local general stores were good too with fair prices, and a walmart and aldis down the road. Few little quirks here and there, like only some of the three bathrooms having soap, one toilet having no seat, and few extra towels for a place with a pool, but otherwise was good. Im sure management couldve taken care of it, but I didnt have access to our vrbo account during the stay and was stretched thin during the wedding, so some of it is on me. Would come back for a reunion though! The crew spent a lot of time relaxing and having nice nooks and crannies to bond with each other, watch MST3k, play Ps5 or the arcade cabinets, or just read or telework.

Made the Best of Our Stay

The property lacked overall cleanliness and didn’t resemble the online pictures. The floors, walls, doors, cabinets, showers, bedding and some furnishings were dirty. Hard to believe there is a cleaning service. The floors were so dirty they turned our feet black and we had to wear shoes or socks at all times. The walls and doors are dirty and some doors are damaged and hard to open. The cabinets in the kitchen and wall behind stove were very dirty- looked like someone had spilled coffee all over the floor/ cabinets. There’s no rugs like in photos and definitely not enough seating in living area for 12 people. The shower in the separate building is covered in an orange rust or mold and neither of the bathrooms in separate building have ac (maybe I missed that). The bedding had stains and lots of hair so we washed. The best part of the house was the game area/ pool/ outdoors. However, the pool was also in need of cleaning. The floors and sides had brown spots and a yellow coloring. The property location says it’s close to three beaches- the first one was nowhere to be found, the second one had very little “beach” and we gave up after that. It’s not necessarily in the best area but we found good restaurants and it’s close to Kemah Boardwalk. I notified manager of cleanliness issue and he was apologetic but no resolution. There was bad weather and our check out was extended but the maid still showed up at 1030. Russell was easy to communicate with but overall disappointed.
