Hi MarkYou booked the most expensive room in our property, the Suite. The price was 260. This is an exceptionally large room with a king bed and three singles and so seeps 5 people and so is just over 50 pp/pn. There are lots of other rooms in our hotel to chose from. The rooms are nice but a man kept knocking on our door and there is no phone in the room to contact the front desk. We called the hotel number repeatedly and no one answered which was disappointing and felt very un-secure.

We had to drive around a few time but were able to parked in front of the hotel. The accommodations were nice and clean but the noise from the pub and the traffic was loud. We slept fine but could not leave the window open which was needed for circulation. Also the floors were not carpeted so the beds moved even if the wheels were locked. However we did love the location and would definitely book again.

The place was perfect except for the noise. It’s in the heart of the city so it’s not surprising - in Dingle they like to party into the wee hours. I guess part of the explanation was Rugby finals. The location was excellent for walking and the staff was wonderful.

Very modern and clean! The layout was great - the kids had their own area in the large room. Bathroom is gorgeous with amazing shower pressure. It could benefit from blackout curtains.

For our family, this was great. We got exceptionally lucky with parking. The room had two twin beds and a queen bed and lots of cubbies. The bathroom had a touch light on the mirror which was like a night light of you had to go to the bathroom at night. This was our best shower so far. There was coffee in the room, comfortable beds, and lights by each bed, lots of outlets. The bathroom had a barn door and we couldn’t lock it which bugged the kids but not a big deal. The only thing I wish is that the jacket closet was where the ironing board was because I was worried we’d forget them.

Great, Central Location
This is a great choice if you are staying in Dingle. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. That meant a little bit of street noise (we stayed on a weekend), but it wasn't too bad. This is a "no frills" hotel with just a small check-in lobby area. But the hotel was extremely well maintained and clean. Plus, with so many amenities nearby (e.g., many, many restaurants, a large grocery store, etc.), there really wasn't a need for the extras. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking could be a bit of a challenge. There is a small lot across the street from the hotel but otherwise, it's street parking wherever you can find it. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of three (two adults, one child).

This is a hotel without dining facilities but there is great early morning coffee a few minutes away up Green St, Bean in Dingle. The Chart House, Doyles and Land to Sea restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk too. Parking is not easy if you arrive midday but there are parks on the waterfront by the supermarket behind the hotel. Room facilities are good and the shower works well. If you are looking for a more typical hotel I suggest Brennan’s which does have its own bar, restaurant and car parking.

Don’t stay here!
I was on the fence about staying here, but ultimately decided to since there weren’t a lot of options when I booked and this place had good reviews from others who had stayed here. I should have canceled when I had the chance. The hotel wasn’t very well insulated because we got a lot of notice from upstairs and from the room next to us. The curtains were light-filtering curtains, not blackout curtains, so tons of light was streaming into our room until 11 pm, disrupting our sleep. The sheets were scratchy and the pillows were the worst I’ve ever used - they were legitimately the thickness of a towel folded into thirds. There was also possibly blood on the bathroom door, which freaked me out. To top it all off, it was relatively warm while we were in dingle and there was no AC and the windows barely opened. The hotel did have one fan, which helped, but it was still uncomfortably warm at night. I read a lot of reviews that described this as a comfortable, no frills hotel. The no frills part is right, but it was not very comfortable. There were some good things about this hotel, however. The cleaning staff was really friendly and the front desk staff was attentive. The hotel was also in a good location, although it’s worth keeping in mind that the hotel does not serve breakfast and there are not a lot of breakfast spots in Dingle. If you’re going to Dingle, I would not recommend staying here. You’re better off at a B&B.

Thank you for your review, we welcome all reviews positive or negative as we strive to continuously improve the service we provide. Dingle has just had a heat wave like no other we have experienced before. I can assure you no hotel in the area was able to cope with that heat, but I am so sorry you were uncomfortable in the room. We have spare pillows to offer all our guests and would have been more than happy to provide you with extra had you requested them. Yes we do not serve breakfast, that is made very clear in all our booking sites, we are a room only hotel there is however a fantastic little place that offers delicious breakfast just beside us and there is the wonderful O'Flahertys pub next door. Our sheets and linen are crisp whites and are hygienically laundered sanitised and pressed before each use so I do not understand the term scratchy in reference to them. As you will see from all our reviews you are amongst the very few to idenfity an issue with our service I do wish you had reported any issue you may have had as telling us you had a few problems after you have left does not give us fair opportunity to make thing right. We pride ourselves on our high standard of cleanliness and customer service . Most of these issues would have been rectified if reported to us at reception. But that being said I do apologise that you did not enjoy your stay in our much loved little hotel
