“We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. “The restaurant was closed on our night there. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to homemade noodles. We found a restaurant near by and enjoyed the boardwalk. Few places that you can walk the water edge. Very quiet and a great stop. Breakfast was magnificent. ”

“According to owner, it’s only 6 years old. Everything is so clean, new and modern (hot & cold water in one tap, rain forest shower head…..).No comment on the staff services because besides wait for us to check in, no other services required. You have to drive to get there, it’s considered remote. Nothing is walkable.”

“My wife and I stayed for 7 days. 10/10- would recommend to a friend- will be back! Our hosts, Trish & Chris, were absolutely stellar. They are both kind, friendly, knowledgeable, salt of the Earth people, and excellent cooks! The breakfasts were customized to our needs and desires and were scrumptious!
