Thankyou for letting us stay at your apartment. We all had a great few days at Dinner plain.We found that staying at dinnerplain was better then staying on Mt hotham as our kelpie could spend time with us and we were able to drop the kids off at the snow and pick them up each day or they would catch the bus. The aprtment was convenient for all of us and the master bed was very comfortable. We would love to visit again .

A snowy beauty at Dinner Plain

Loved the SnowBrainer given the perfect location for warmth, beauty and comfort as our snow vacation home. Would certainly callout the proximity to all activities at dinner plain and mount Hotham a plus yet a very reasonable stay for your family with pets. The property owners and managers have been very communicative and helpful, sure could help with some loyalty points for our next visit as we can see for a return soon. We would highly recommend the SnowBrainer for all seasons.

A little distant from where we were attending wedding and otherfriends but instructions on getting there impeccable and having heating on with our rather late arrival was a lovely suprise .Facilities were as represented only issues were coffee machine was to initimidating to use without clearer instruction snf teenage angst til they found the wifi connection

Wonderful Surprise, Snow! But ...

Six Adults stayed in Snow Brainer (62 to 70 yrs old) plus 2 Samoyeds. Snow an unexpected joy, except snow chains had to be on & together with a bad accident going up Mt Hotham about 30km/hour up 29 kms of road. Ended with 2 car loads arriving in the dark. NO handrails up front stairs! Very scary! Because of snow parking was a problem. Once in it is very nice, but the third bedroom was so small you have to go outside to change your mind and it meant someone over 60 having to climb up the bunk bed. Missing a few luxury items like tissues, soft cloth for cleaning down surfaces, electric blankets on beds, extra bath mat and towels etc. We could not get the heater/log fire up stairs working (no instructions). This place would be great for young families or young people. Outlook was very enjoyable.

We had 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time. Most of the group was skiing but some stayed home to enjoy dinner plain walks and relaxing at the house. The place was well stocked, the linen and towels were clean with a lot of extra blankets if cold. We cooked every day and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc Very responsive with queries.

This is our third year and we still love it!

Snow Brainer is always at the top of our list for the snow season! We noticed many renovations happened this year which is really impressive and appreciated. Look forward to staying in next time!

My family and I took our German shepherd to the snow for the first time and he absolutely loved it. We also loved how clean and nice the property was. It was warm and very accomodating. The only issue we had was with the fridge it was only cooling the items at the back and not at the front. But other than that it’s an amazing place to stay at !!! I definitely recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be rebooking again for next year ! Thanks Josie ! You were also very easily to communicate with and very prompt!!

Great Location / Pet Friendly

The property is very well located - close to both the DP walking track & National Forest tracks. Super easy & close access to the Mt Hotham bus stop & shops; being pet friendly always gets bonus points from us and our Goldie loved experiencing the snow with us! Very much appreciated the shower gels as well as it was the one thing we forgot to pack! Only one small niggle was the smart lock - not sure if it was the cold that effected it or it just didn’t like us, but it was quite the battle to both lock & unlock - however we always managed to get it to do what we wanted eventually! :)

Cozy, comfortable and delightful pet friendly property

We had a stellar time at Dinner Plain & a wonderful stay at ‘SnowBrainer’. We arrived later than planned and it was so lovely to find lights & the gas fire on for us. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. The beds are very comfortable and bedding warm & snuggly. The kitchen & bathrooms are well appointed with clean modern fixtures & fittings and very comfortable. While certainly not a negative (it makes for a delightful view), do be aware that the property is 3 storeys and the stairs are quite steep. The timber outdoor entry stairs can also get very slippery after a little snow and there is no handrail, so just be extra careful when it’s icy. We just loved our stay and can’t wait to return - hopefully next year.
